It’s a shift in Philosophy for sure

It hasn’t caused problems…yet…but this is more slow burn that will reap “rewards” down the road…like their collapsing park strategy stateside.

Sure…people bought “copper creek”…which was an emergency bland repurposing…and they’re sorta buying…sorta…riviera…
But there’s a cumulative effect.

It’s gonna be: “why did I buy the Hilton?”

…but it’s just my theory…I’m never right about the longterm stuff.
They are certainly becoming more aggressive in pushing add ons. First time ever that I've been getting cold calls on it.

One thing I think Riviera design did well was removing the balconies on the living room portion and pushing the exterior wall to depth of balconies off bedrooms. Functionally it made the living room longer and that helped by adding more space to both feel bigger and add extra seating perpendicular to the sofa.

But some resorts with balconies on exterior wall at least have more room than Poly has.

Here's VGF as an example:

Poly's living space comparatively looks cramped and has less seating. They added some movable seating but where is it supposed to go when the Murphy bed is down? There's not very much room to rearrange furniture.

I just want to point out that at the VGF you can fit a football team in the 1-Bedroom Master Bath Shower.

The design is borderline sad beige mom, but I like it. I don't think the herringbone floors work very well because they are too European for a Polynesian resort. They should have done wide rectangular flooring.

They also need to work on the lighting in their video. You can see how off it is in her skintone. I don't think it's presenting the model room to its best advantage.

What were actual dates quoted? If in December between opening and end of year then we should at least consider how expensive cash rooms are that time of year. BLT cash theme park two bedrooms are over $3200 that time of year.

Theme park view? So the upper floors are considered theme park view? That's one way to fit more points into the resort. I guess lower floors on that side will be lake?
