You can put that next to the festival center poster. 😉
You can paper over most of the tombstones in the Haunted Mansion graveyard...

Wait- why is Mexico included here?
The model in the 50th Expo in Odyssey showed Miguel's guitar as large as the pyramid. That and with Miguel front and center in the poster makes it clear that there was once plans to go ahead and retheme Gran Fiesta to Coco. Alas, it seems dead now.

The model also seemed to imply Imagination was getting a Figment re-do. And it didn't.

Both of these were rumored by our Insiders as a strong possibility... at one time.

And why is Pinocchio in the Italy pavilion?... Were they hoping the live remake was going to reinvigorate that IP and lead to a Pinocchio attraction? Hmmm? Probably not. And the movie bombed big time.

Not that I was super excited for PLAY or anything, but it is amazing that Disney cannot seem to get another big project going after Tiana/TRON with a new THEME PARK coming down the line from their major competitor.

I’m not even saying they need a new theme park (they don‘t) but they have no new rides in the pipeline besides Tiana and even calling that “new“ is generous. The alarming rate that projects are announced/cancelled is worrying.

It's not amazing when you look at the priorities Disney has. Not being snarky! Universal and Disney are equivalent in terms of their portfolios but Universal understands what Disney seems not to: The current demo favors in-person experiences over sit-down entertainment media. Now this may be due largely to instagram, etc. and the "postability" of lived experiences but Universal's main goal is to snatch that demo. Disney seems to prioritize using the parks as advertising for their streaming media, which is baffling because to me it should be the other way around entirely. Ah well. Maybe Disney will buy another company. That should solve everything.

We have no idea if there are new rides in the pipeline. Just cause nothings been announced doesn't mean they aren't working on something. People are so quick to be mad or outraged nowadays it even carries over to theme park messageboards lol

Seems like if there were they would’ve been quick to announce them at D23 rather than throwing vague concepts at the wall to see what sticks.
