EPCOT New Play Pavilion to replace Epcot's Wonders of Life

It's my thread "The Body Wars Volunteer: WHO THE HECK ARE THEY??" on the Past Attractions section here.

I've found Fantastic Voyage scenarios done to guys I like sensory/comfort, but it's uncomfortable when it's a woman's body. That's all.

OK What if they moved the entire Cars land thing to the Wonders of Life building and created a "Cars Adventure Dome"....which would of course not fit EPCOT at all, but at least give them the IP saturation they so desire without destroying the fabric of the Magic Kingdom... Plus the entire ride and area would be under cover... They could project an ever changing sky on the dome of the ceiling including night time skies... and from the exterior the building would still fit the park....

If you're moving Cars, just shift it to Tomorrowland and use some variation of the Florida International Super Speedway from Cars 3, which actually nicely complements the architecture of TRON as a replacement for the existing Speedway.

In my opinion, Disney should build a big beautiful Inside Out omnimover dark ride in the WoL pavillion.

they should build something in the Wonders of Life pavilion.... and I agree about Cars in the Speedway footprint...definitely a better choice than the ROA location....
I agree, destroying ROA is a terrible decision on its own, then putting a Cars attraction compounds the terrible decision.

There is nothing we can do but watch this Rocket Rods level trainwreck happen.

How knows? Maybe in 5 or 6 years when it finally opens, maybe I will like it after all. ;)

Play Pavilion is worse. At least Rocket Rods actually opened.
I must disagree.
The perfectly good DLR people mover was converted to Rocket Rods. Yes, Rocket Rods opened, but quickly failed and destroyed the people mover track in such a way that it could not be converted back to the People mover. Making it even worse, the destroyed people mover track cannot be removed and is now an overgrown eyesore that all visitors must look at.

The WoL pavilion is closed due to various mistakes made but the building is an attractive building plus there is no longer a walkway to it so its no as offensive to look at.

Now the new Cars attraction, if it fails, would be a worse failure than Rocket Rods and will be worst failure in the companies history in my opinion.

And they kept the Tron segment up to its closure in 1995! THEY STILL COULDA HAD THE ANGRY REVERB VOICE OF DOOM TODAY! (If they kept the Peoplemover and removed that segment, then I'd cry. Even when the sequel came out, they wouldn't have brought back that voice, because he'd be "outdated" by then. COME ON IT'S COREY BURTON! WELCOME TO KRYPTON...)

I wanna see the physical body of the evil computer voice take revenge on everyone involved in a scene similar to the end of the Superman TAS "The Last Son of Krypton, Part 3" episode...

LIGHTCYCLE RUN DOESN'T HAVE HIM EITHER!!

Admittedly Rocket Rods is definitely worse in terms of the future. But it's still depressing to see nothing new with the Play Pavilion develop. And while I can't say I would've been too excited about it, if it had some educational value I wouldn't mind it's conceptual existence as much.

The best thing to do? Bring back WOL and update it to fit our modern world.
