Well they could always serve gator at disney. That would certainly turn a disadvantage into an advantage. They can even claim they are locally sourced and freshly made every day. No one will start to wonder why the gator signs suddenly vanished. Only that there were a lot of gator items suddenly on the menu at disney. It does line up with cajun cooking though.I want gumbo.
So the new lounge is going here just to clarify? My source just confirmed Tortuga will be the home of the new pirates bar at Magic Kingdom. It will operate similarly to Oga’a business model.
So this is not going where it was originally rumored to go, the old Pirates League space? My source just confirmed Tortuga will be the home of the new pirates bar at Magic Kingdom. It will operate similarly to Oga’a business model.
No, it’s going in the former restaurant space. I was surprised to hear!!!So this is not going where it was originally rumored to go, the old Pirates League space?
The Pirates bar/lounge is going in the old Tortuga location. So the new lounge is going here just to clarify?
Which blows. And worse by the fact that the far superior original is still pictured for Sunshine Tree Terrace on MDE. Such a tease. But sir the Citrus Swirl (that the technically do not have anymore, the original mix has been replaced with dole whip orange for a while now)
Serve it at Aloha…But sir the Citrus Swirl (that the technically do not have anymore, the original mix has been replaced with dole whip orange for a while now)
Yep. Should be pretty cool, honestly. Some snacky foods, too. It’s gotten a glow-up from the original proposal.
Very interesting. I guess they wanted to use the Pecos kitchen instead of building a new one. Hope they still have enough seating as this is probably going to be as popular as OgasNo, it’s going in the former restaurant space. I was surprised to hear!!!
I actually think a pirate bar is a no-brainer. And Tortuga was poorly utilized. Let’s hope BBT has a couple QSRs. I wish they’d bring back the BOG QSR lunch…No one wants a $70 steak at 11 am. Then there’s Tomorrowland Terrace…So a park, the world’s busiest theme park, that still has not replaced dining capacity removed in 1994 (!), and has continued to remove capacity, is removing even more. A true exemplar of customer service.

Correct!Reservations only and 45 minutes max at a time?
Correct!
Make in an AP lounge!I guess Pirate's League will continue to sit empty
Have you heard if there will be exclusive mugs? My source was unsure! To me, that’s a no brainer.I actually think a pirate bar is a no-brainer. And Tortuga was poorly utilized.
