News New Parade: Magic Happens

Glad I’m not alone on this, the sound just needs a little tweaking to clean up the transitions a bit, still a great parade though.
It's close, and honestly the first couple transitions aren't so bad (Opening to Moana to Coco are all fine). The back half of the parade, though (Coco to Frozen to Finale) is rough, I think because of the Frozen music specifically (Paint the Night had this same issue with the Frozen float, the music for that float was incredibly off-putting there too).

The pizza there tastes obviously canned. You can just taste the metallic tinned slime in the toppings, and you can practically hear them running all those industrial strength can openers in the back. In the last 10 years make-your-own pizza places like Blaze have revolutionized pizzas for Americans, but TDA is still stuck in a circa 1998 mindset when it comes to their food service.

Pizza Planet is awful. Even the Boardwalk Pizza at DCA is decent.

Still live currently, so have to go back to view the parade from today.

Tiana and Naveen are back. Also I found the music transitions to be near perfect in this stream.

Dont the performers have winter version costumes? or does the parade only have 1 version of its costume?
I don't believe ANY California parade has winter costumes. Most of the time the weather would seem to make it unnecessary.

I've seen parade performers in the international parks in winterized costumes, but I don't remember ever seeing them in either of the US parks.
I’ve personally never seen winter versions of parade costumes at Disneyland. It’s usually just one version.
Interestingly enough, we got a bit of an answer in this evening's parade. The 3:30 parade didn't run today because of the snow (graupel really, but I'm calling it snow), but the 6:30 parade did, and both Tinkerbell and Tiana had winter wear on. (Cinderella had some sort of sheer undershirt on as well I think, but can't be sure.) You can catch it at this livestream; currently still live now, so you may have to scrub to find them.

They were wearing a similar if not the same coat and shawl as below (Tiana's photo is from DLP but I couldn't find any exact matches from DLR to what she seemed to be wearing in the video). In any case, it seems like their contingency is to pull from the character's normal winter wear for meet and greets if it gets too cold.

I'm assuming that he's some sort of minor Pixie IP character they introduced in recent years.

But... yeah. I had an aunt in the 1970's that had that same wig he's wearing. She called it her "Sandy Duncan look".

I wonder what he calls it?

And now I'm craving some Wheat Thins!

P.S. Whenever you said "Sandy Duncan" in the 1970's, almost always someone nearby you would then say "You know she has a glass eye!?!"
The end of this YouTube video just reminded me of that. ;)

That's Terence from the Tinker Bell Movies.
