In my daily ROL stalking I found this little beauty! Who would have thunk we'd be celebrating Halloween with an empty river? :(

Question regarding soft openings/previews although I know they won't announce this much ahead of time do they announce it during the day in the park? Or do they just kinda start doing the show out of no where? Lol may sound silly... but I plan to be in AK the 11th and the morning of the 20th and although the 20th is supposed to be departure day if I have the chance of seeing ROL and a park ticket already I will most definitely hop on priceline and get a cheap place for the night (ohhh now I'm seeing the joys of having a car on property and not flying)

This is from 10/24... so they had a dress rehearsal preview I'm assuming, not the full show. Gosh.. I got 5 days for them to get their $&@! Together! :)
When you go to DAK during your trip, talk to the CM's and explain it's a birthday trip and ROL is your number one thing to see. See if that might get you in to a soft opening review. If that fails, show them this thread and how much time and energy you put in stalking the progress.

Hang in there...I'm hoping, too! (and, of course, @prfctlyximprct is!)

We arrive on Thursday, planning AK on Friday...if I see/hear anything, I'll make sure to post it here :)

Aw, awesome!! Here's to hoping, right? All night I've been saying, "and this time next Saturday..." With dining and ride reservations. I'm itching to fill my Sunday evening timespot!

I think the three of us should be having drinks to soothe our frazzled nerves (and even better they should be on the house for all the mental anguish!)

This has probably been discussed but I'm really not going thru 330 pages of info, if it does open Nov 18th will they open FP+ for the show? I'll be there the week after thanksgiving and I can't fathom what a s#*t show it would be if there wasn't any FP.

Unknown. If it's soft probably not.

No necessarily. You don't want to advertise something to AP'ers and then not have it show worthy when they arrive.

If it is soft opening tomorrow I would think that the cast members needed would have been notified to be there tomorrow night by now.

My mom works Security Part time and they shifted her to AK Monday and Tuesday which is unusual.....
