This is easily one of my top most-desired upgrades (I know I'm not alone, judging by the sheer number of monorail-upgrade-related threads we've had on here since, uh, forever. ) I really, really hope they do it.
The whole point of destroying one of the trains was to document accurately it.True, but that is the downside of re-engineering an old system. There were issues with platform clearance which were resolved, and the initial version (in which they tried to do away with the safety hazard of open windows) did not have sufficient ventilation. In time, all these issues were fixed.
Bear in mind that the Mark V was designed in a time when meticulous CAD drawings did not exist. The custom fit items were never fully documented. Times have changed.
As an example, Disney just recently let Lever Architecture put up their rennovation of the Roy E Disney Animation Building on their portfolio. Two years after completion, without specifically naming them as the client.Just, no. Disney maintains strict control over how and when vendors can disclose their involvement with projects.
Well that's it then, no reason to replace anything if the AC worksFor what it’s worth, monorail Lime had AMAZING A/C last week. It was cold inside on a very hot day.

Oh I definitely don’t take that position, most of the trains I saw up close all looked rough! Which were Red, Lime, Gold and Teal... but the AC worked really well I was happy for that because it was miserably hot and humidWell that's it then, no reason to replace anything if the AC works

I honestly had an emotional rollercoaster moment because I didn’t know to laugh because something was working or cry from relief. LolNote the . Maybe it should be
I had heard plenty of rumors while I was there. It's also very possible that if this IS happening, Disney has this under such tight wraps that trains could be on their way now and won't get started until next week. Don't quote me on that, but I'm just saying, I could see them acting that way.
That was me saying as secretive as they can be, I could see it. However, I didn't say it was true.you wouldn't be surprised if trains showed up next week?!
... or am i misreading you?
I think you have the wrong company, if they were to do this it would be announced three years outThat was me saying as secretive as they can be, I could see it. However, I didn't say it was true.

Yeah no.
I like your optimism, but I don’t think so. As much as we like to bash Disney of “today”, even the historical Disney began promoting way ahead of projects (once the decision to go was made). That was me saying as secretive as they can be, I could see it. However, I didn't say it was true.
They simply cannot hide that amount of CapEx.
What if they bartended for it?
