Cough, something with a little more detail. That one is great and well done. The site does not seem to allow you to zoom in.
Ride systems are proprietary, so you're not likely to find much in that regard readily available on the internets. The construction documents for a lot of the buildings and other structures (that aren't considered ride systems) on WDW property are submitted for permitting (although the code authority is also owned by Disney), so some of those drawings show up from time to time.

There was a fairly interesting article published about Spaceship Earth when it was constructed, which had some conceptual drawings showing how the sphere was constructed, etc. Unfortunately, the only drawings of rides you are likely to find lying around the web are of the "fan produced" variety - at least in my experience.

Now that I'm home and can look at things in more detail, here is a snapshot from the sheet called "Fire Truck and Crane Access Plan". The shaded areas and center-lines indicate all areas where fire trucks and cranes can enter and leave the site safely. That's all it means.

Is there any chance that they will decide to build a second bypass on the other side of Main Street?

Probably not. Parking lot is smaller, backs up to Jungle Cruise, harder to fit it in and block sight lines. This one will be sufficient.

It is too tight backstage on that side. It could mess with the parades. It would make the bottleneck at the first aid station near crystal palace so much worse.

there going to need all the access to the hub they can get for the hub redo, and they probably figure its best to not have to drive all the materials/cranes etc down the middle of mainstreet every night.

initially weren't there plans to build actual streets on both sides of main street??

i seem to recall seeing that somewhere.

looks like theres definitely enough space, though it causes the same access issues to the shops/etc though where theres a will theres a way.. but if they did do it it would need to be an actual real attraction style thing.

like the arcade at disneyland paris, vs the quick fix bypass

Interesting way to bump this thread. Was wondering what happened to with this project. With all of the talk with the The Hub refurb, discussion of this disappeared. This is still happening, right?
