Greetings, Rachel! Perusing this board, I noticed you also posted a thread with the title "New DVD" and a similar message. I think it's a good idea to be as specific as possible in your subject line as well as the message body when asking about such things here, because not everyone knows what you're talking about.

Are you referring to that new magazine called "Celebrations" that is supposed to be out this month? I keep hoping to find it in my mailbox each day as I come home and check the mail, but nothing so far. Apparently, they are now saying "late September/early October" rather than simply "late September" that they had been saying. :shrug:

If this is about the Celebrations magazine, I emailed them yesterday morning asking about delivery and their response is as follows:

Hi!
It should be on the way soon, we are just about ready to go to press (turns out we kept thinking of new things to put in, so we took an extra couple of weeks to make sure it was 'just so'!).
But the wait is almost over...I hope you enjoy it!

Good to know it won't be much longer, but it sucks to know that it won't be in my mailbox today. :(

Thank you for asking this question, it fells like it has been ages since the magazine was last mentioned.

I'm guessing that it's going to take a bit longer to get over to me. Please can anyone PM me when you guys receive it, so I can really start to get excited.

I emailed the guy a week and a half ago and he said that they were at press as we speak so if he told you they are ABOUT to go to press its looking like a late Oct early Nov thing!

Fortunately, the poster who said he had emailed them and was told they were "about to go to press", posted that on September 26...which would be pretty close to the time that you emailed them as well. So hopefully we won't be waiting much longer.

I emailed the magazine yesterday.

Here was the reply that I received this morning:


Hi Jeff!
I'm happy to say that the first issue is off to the printers (we had to take
an extra week or two to make sure everything was just right), so the first
issue should be in your hands in a couple of weeks or so. Thanks for your
patience, and I do hope you enjoy it...! :-)

Wake up people!!! We've clearly been duped. Lou Mongello set up his Disney podcast site and wrote books to gain our trust in anticipation of "offering a magazine we could subscribe to" all with the intent of never providing it. Lou is in South America by now. Come on where is this mythical "press" we keep hearing about? Why do you think it isn't available on newsatands? Cause it doesn't and will never exist!!! Celebrations? That doesn't even sound like a Disney magazine, it sounds like Lou is celebrating with our money in Venazuala!!!
