did they do away with the disney insider magazine? . i havent seen one in a long time.

Yes, no doubt all part of Lou Mongello's master plan. I would not put it past him in the least to have subscribed to most of THAT magazine himself and then cancel all subscriptions at once. This way he could single-handedly bring about the collapse of Disney Insider and start his plan.

Well, considering I paid by Paypal, I know they'll refund my money if he is a swindler. I pray your joking though, what an anti-disney thing to do, magazine-wise.

Who's ready to join me on a little trip to South America! I'll go anywhere and spend anything to get my subscription fee back! Should we meet to plan our search? Let's not waste ANY time...

Of course not! I can't wait to get my first issue- but I guess I will have to wait! Just havin' some fun!

I seldom jest, is it any coincidence that "Lou Mongello" can be re-arranged to "No Lou Glolem" ? I don't think so...:lookaroun

Seriously though I'm happy that they are taking extra time to go all out on it.. It's also exciting that it won't just be rehashed info we can find all over the internet....until it comes out and we all post it on this site.

Im just hoping its not some flimsy little magazine that can be read in 10 minutes. Also something for adults, there are enough kiddie books, and junk.

I hope it's alot better than the old Disney Magazine. I remember how I would love to pick up my copy when I saw it at the stores, and how disappointed I was when I decided to subscribe only to find that they had cancelled the magazine. However, whenever I pick up one of the old issues around the house and thumb through it, I can't help wondering what all my excitement was about with this magazine. It seemed to have more advertisements than anything else, and alot of stuff having to do with DL, but very little real content about WDW. I hope this new magazine is alot better.

Yeah advertisements suck. Lets also hope there isnt like 396,372 advertisements for things 50 miles away from WDW.

On another note... I just received my first issue of Tales from the Laughing Place - what a great magazine! It's very well done IMO. It's more of a collector's magazine - I'd put them on the shelves with my books! Does anyone else receive this magazine?

I agree, but magazines do make a lot of their money from advertisements. Since the magazine is new then it is going to do what it has to do to stay around which may mean lots of advertisements.:(

It is 80 pages so maybe it wont be too bad, even if there are a lot of advertisements I think I'll enjoy it anyways and I can't wait to get it in the mail!!!

80 pages sounds like alot, but when I looked through my old issues of "The Disney Magazine", those were about 80 pages, too. And about 70 of those pages were garbage. Like I said, hopefully this one will be better.
