The thing is, I don't know how they would be able to get this to work outside
Too cool. Of course, the reaction will be different between children, ranging from "Yea! Mickey!" to "AAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
All depends on the kid.
This is so awesome!
I wonder if they just have a voice translator? Did anyone else get shocked when he repeated her name (Margaret)? From that point I knew it couldn't be just a bunch of pre-recorded tracks.
Quit changing things...and bring back Horizons...:lookaroun:lol:
I must be missing something completely obvious, so I'll go ahead and look like a moron and just ask:The thing is, I don't know how they would be able to get this to work outside

What is the difference everyone (but me) is picking up on between inside and outside M&Gs in regards to this? Too much crowding by the curious if the space isn't enclosed?
The weather (well, really rain). Regular, non-speaking characters can't be out in the rain, so it would be really bad to have characters like this out in the rain.
Don't forget, someone's head has to fit in there, too...It's also mind blowing how much tech is in that head. First there's the mechanisms to make his mouth move and eyes blink. Then there's the thing that changes the actor's voice (assuming its the person in the costume doing the talking) with speakers of some sort to produce the voice. Then they must have some sort of equipment so that the actor can hear the people talking to him. And lastly there also must be somthing to make the mouth move in sync with the voice.
Its mind boggling! Very impressive stuff.
