Guess it's about time to post this then:

The actual Sorcerers are Disney characters and will use their special powers (Rupunzel hair whip, Hercules strength, Snow White singing, etc.) Most of the play field will be in Frontierland, Andventureland, Fantasyland and Main Street.

Really? Can you tell us any of the other characters and attractions that are going to be involved in this experience?

As for Rapunzel, instead of her hair, she could use that frying pan of hers to bonk the baddies instead. :D

You'll have to just wait and see. Wouldn't want to spill the beans before it rolls out otherwise people wouldn't be surprised.

Can you at least tell us when the experience will start being offered?

Will any of the attraction-specific characters (Brer Rabbit, the Country Bears, etc.) make appearances in the game as well?

I'd love to play it too.

I also agree that offering up something like this will be beneficial to the park as it will make them not have to worry as much about being "careful" when it comes to scheduling attraction refurbishments.

Really excited for this too!

I will love doing this with my son! I do have to point out (even given the connection with Sorceror Mickey) that the design posted really reminds me of a certain other "wizardly land" not located in WDW. Even so, very exciting and a great way to spend time waiting on fastpass windows or just enjoying a drink and something new.:)

Has this been an ongoing thing or is construction just getting underway?

My question is, have they been prepping for this for some time and inserting these "game" elements under normal refurb schedules?

Over the course of 20 years, we can't have both??

Sure doesn't seem that big a stretch for me for the highest attended theme park on the planet.

I wasn't aware we'd need to choose.

Look at the major additions to the Magic Kingdom during it's first 3 Decades.

1973 - Pirates - E-Ticket
1975 - Space Mountain - E-Ticket
1975 - People Mover - D-Ticket
1975 - Star Jets - D-Ticket
1982 - Big Thunder Mountain - E-Ticket (same year as opening Epcot Center and Monorail Expansion)
1993 - Splash Mountain - E-Ticket
1994 - loss of 20,000 Leagues - E-Ticket

Disney set the prescience and kept raising the bar. This to me is one of the main reasons for disappointment with the stagnation of the Magic Kingdom.
Disney sort of conditioned us to keep expecting new mind blowing attractions. :D
