Ok, since I just got here after a week of being locked away, do you care to enlighten me on the problem?
I remember getting to know you, Dan, back on the days of the wrestling thread. I've been on threads with Jonnie as well. Never had problems with you guys, and I suppose you never had problems with me.
As a matter of fact, I like very much to believe no one here has problems with me. I join in when I feel I have something to add, and steer clear of stuff I have nothing to do with.
I was a contributor once, but had to stop helping because of my impending doom... err, I mean, wedding. I ended up keeping the tag, don't really know why. I know that bothers some people, that falling into the "freeloading" argument. But as Erika has pointed out, I'm used to people mentioning directly when they have a problem with something, and no one complained, so I let it pass. I don't see no pics, don't download no videos and do go to PML anymore.
Which brings us to the next point: wanna know what's in there? I'll tell ya! Pretty much same as here on Chit Chat, only in there 'they don't have the whole bickering and picking, so they're used to call each other by name and tell personnal things. It'd be awsome (to qoute a troll) if all that could happen out here, but unfortunately there are issues that prevent that. And this is no snot-talk; just like in life, when you think you're in a comfortable environment, along comes someone who's just prime and ready to stir the pot and see the sparks fly for no reason.
I understand you mentioned it's not ALL PMers, just a few, who give them all a bad name. And it's not just the troll-hunting (which we all know can get out of hand sometimes), but other stuff. Well, I for one would love to see examples. You know why? Cause it could be all a huge misunderstanding. You know, just between you and me, if I had to get mad at every post there is and/or was in this forum about how Brazilians are the doom of WDW, I'd probably hate 50% of this place and never get out of the bad in the morning for fear of inviting the wrath of a couple of countries.
Am I making sense? No, but that's ok, that's what Chit Chat is for.
So summing up: 1) I voted for "I disagree". I've been there, I've done that, and I know what most people view as elitist behavior is just people who love this place enough to help out and maybe be more vocal than others simply because they're around a bit longer; and 2) Yeah, I think it was Brian too. I'd say it was Jerry, because we all know he's an evil PMer, but he says he wasn't around and he's got an alibi...
