Then they would need a Mickey/Toontown type resort too

True...it could overlook Toontown Fair like the Grand Californian in Cali....:lookaroun

I vote for a fantasy themed resort first though in hopes that Toontown Fair will be bulldozed to make way for the "dark/villain" extension of FantasyLand. :D

Disney wouldn't do that. It's not like Zach and Cody is a multi-billion dollar franchise. It just doesn't make sense. But can someone tell me what is the rumor of "STOLPort"

I agree, i wish that WDI would do that. My brother and I thought that would be a cool place. MICKEY MOUSE CARTOONS ARE TIMELESS!!!

I just wanted to say that, yes, the Cubs do rock. Now if only we can get them to a World Series...if we don't, my mother might take "Cub Fanz" off of our license plate...;)

I heard they were theming a new hotel to "That's So Raven" :lookaroun

Strange, I always thought she wasn't Raven enough...

Anyway, back on-topic, I would trust anything on wikipedia without first running it by real news services. Just too much unverified info on there. We can wish or dream or theorize all we want, but we'll all know for sure when Disney wants us to know. Personally, I think it would be ridiculous to pattern a whole hotel based on a TV show that hasn't proven whether or not it will stand the test of time...and most original programming on the Disney Channel, IMHO, doesn't have much of a shelf life. The same could be true for a lot of Disney productions, too. For all our love of the animated classics and the big epics like 20K Leagues, there are plenty of extremely lightweight Annette/Dean Jones/Fred MacMurray/Don Knotts-esque vehicles that rely heavily on nostalgia instead of quality to have any sort of shelf life. Having a hotel based on a 2-year old show geared primarily to the fickly 'tween crowd would be like trying to build an Amazing Doberman Gang attraction 2 months after that epic was released. I wouldn't recommend it. They'd wind up probably changing the theming and reason-for-being mid-construction, and it could wind up feeling disjointed and themeless. Best to find a theme that has nothing to do with any one particular movie or series, IMHO. It's worked fine thus far.

I really cant see them ever making a resort based on the theme of a TV show. The resort will be there essentially forever so the theme has last forever as well. At the most they could theme a resort on some of the classic movies like Snow White or Cinderella but even that would be a stretch.

Could it be possible that a STOLPort resort would have access to the monorail? i have only seen it during my most recent visit in Nov/Dec '04 and its a litte ways off from the track

At the risk of sounding like a whining b****, why do so many people quote this fake reference? Wikipedia is soooo riddled with myths and errors... why would someone use it for info?

The biggest problem with Wiki is that anyone can add data. How do we know that the person who put the data on Wiki wasn't making the whole thing up?

The OP is just looking for verification from us. This board has lots of members that are "in the know" and we should give them a chance to answer.

Remember, this forum is "news and rumors". So take it all with a grain of salt.

And...y'all start being nice to each other.

A Disney resort based upon the Suite Life's boring and plain Tipton Hotel? They'd be better off building one based upon the Golden Palace.
Ooohh! I'd stay there!!

Anyway, what is STOLPport stand for? I thought I knew all the crazy acronyms on this site.
