No roller coaster is cheap. We just think six-flags types are cheap because the rest of six flags looks cheap. Will this just be a cheap coaster ?

Can you give an example of a coaster that you’d classify as “cheap”?Will this just be a cheap coaster ?
Like children's coasters? AKA stuff like this:There are certain coasters that can be had for cheap.
The pinnacle of rides.
Small, stock layout coasters tend to be the cheapest amongst steel coasters, so not just kiddie coasters. Even something like a stock Euro-Fighter can be had for less than $10 million ex works. Large, custom coasters are usually in the low to mid teens with a single launch adding one to two million to the cost.Like children's coasters? AKA stuff like this:

Check out my avatar. An animatronic like that is far from cheap.

Everything else was super budget cutted. We could have had al's toy barn slinky dog dash.
In my opinion the Potter coaster will be a considerably better attraction. I think the GotG will but a lot of fun, but I'm not expecting anything really impressive. Sort of like a modern RnR. Cool preshow, fun coaster. So, just to throw it out there, how do you feel this attraction will compare with the Guardians of the Galaxy ride under construction at Epcot. A recent article noted, The attraction is on track to become one of the world’s longest enclosed coasters.
The new Potter coaster will be leagues ahead of Slinky by just about every metric. Think Grizzly Mtn./Everest scale. Only more thrilling. And more AAs.Mack launched coasters with custom layouts aren't cheap.
Intamin Blitz coasters, which it still looks like Universal is building, aren't cheap either.
The difference in ex works cost of the two is likely not that great, both probably being around the mid-teens.The new Potter coaster will be leagues ahead of Slinky by just about every metric. Think Grizzly Mtn./Everest scale. Only more thrilling. And more AAs.
Wow, you have me quite excited! The new Potter coaster will be leagues ahead of Slinky by just about every metric. Think Grizzly Mtn./Everest scale. Only more thrilling. And more AAs.
Will it have a structure (either natural like Grizzly and Everest or man-made like Hogwarts) "representing" the ride? Or will the coaster be mostly through a forest? The new Potter coaster will be leagues ahead of Slinky by just about every metric. Think Grizzly Mtn./Everest scale. Only more thrilling. And more AAs.
