Small, stock layout coasters tend to be the cheapest amongst steel coasters, so not just kiddie coasters. Even something like a stock Euro-Fighter can be had for less than $10 million ex works. Large, custom coasters are usually in the low to mid teens with a single launch adding one to two million to the cost.

So, just to throw it out there, how do you feel this attraction will compare with the Guardians of the Galaxy ride under construction at Epcot. A recent article noted, The attraction is on track to become one of the world’s longest enclosed coasters.

In my opinion the Potter coaster will be a considerably better attraction. I think the GotG will but a lot of fun, but I'm not expecting anything really impressive. Sort of like a modern RnR. Cool preshow, fun coaster.

The new Potter coaster will be leagues ahead of Slinky by just about every metric. Think Grizzly Mtn./Everest scale. Only more thrilling. And more AAs.
