So... can we say that the rumor that the announced Fall opening of the Skyliner being so seemingly late is because there is a manufacturing delay in producing the gondolas is definitely false?

Can we? How do we know they didn't start later than planned while they waited for the first batch of gondolas? Your post infers that because the gondolas are all here NOW.. that's the date that matters. Project Managers know managing delays is about cascading dependencies.. so its when things happen in the sequence that matters.. not just having everything present before the end.
I would say so and I’m the one who shared that info. My source seems to be incorrect on that one.So... can we say that the rumor that the announced Fall opening of the Skyliner being so seemingly late is because there is a manufacturing delay in producing the gondolas is definitely false?

Exactly. Without knowing the original schedule, we have no way of knowing if there was an actual delay.
They kinda showed up when the ropes were ready for them, not months later with half the order still missing.
Ummm... so to answer your question... eyes?

NoDoes your source say why their info was off?
Maybe they let the date to get the ropes ready slip because they knew they wouldn't have the cars in time. Again, without knowing the original schedule we can't tell if there were delays or not.
That is true and at the time it made sense. There must’ve been a period where this was the thought and then production picked up and was able to meet the demand Disney had. I’d be interested if other projects elsewhere were still delayed while Disney got their cabins.@Lift Blog did confirm that other sites where seeing manufacturing delays on their projects.
