Photo update as of Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Not sure this has been posted.....the Skyliner tower closest to the Hollywood Studios station has been painted tan, which has a more pleasing appearance than the mottled steel gray towers.

Under the Skyliner towers in the wooded area between the Hollywood Studios parking lot and the Caribbean Beach resort Skyliner station, what appears to be large gravel has been spread out over the "corrugated" black sub-surface. (Pardon the blurred photo, taken from a moving vehicle.)

Thanks for the pics! Very good to see some paint on that tower. Now, how about doing the same on all the rest!

I think that tower has always been that color. Here is a picture from two months ago.

Yep you are right, this one is from Aug 2018

So have we got any towers that have been painted since being installed?

No, everything that we have seen painted was painted before installation. Painting galvanized steel is not easy, so it would have been short-sighted to install galvanized steel towers and then try to paint them later.

Was all of the linkage, catwalk, and ladder painted at the same time as the tower?

EDIT: The above folks beat me to my punchline....

It's had the stripe for a while. Fans were spotted at the AoA station as well but I don't recall them being seen in DHS or if they were, then it was very recent.

Fair point, but why this one and not any other in the system?

Has anyone peeked over the wall to see whether or not DHS has air mover fans? They're easy to see at Pop because it's the only station not behind a construction wall.
There's at least one air-moving fan in the DHS station near the launch, it's been there since they started testing uncovered gondolas. I vaguely remember noticing more in the empty DHS station last weekend, but I wouldn't swear to it.

Exciting recent updates from both bioreconstruct and Passport to the Parks!
Bioreconstruct has given us great images/updates of the turn station, Epcot, and HS stations at night!

And Passport to the Parks got footage of the first uncovered gondola on the Pop/AoA line! Hopefully we'll be seeing more uncovered soon

If this video clip is being shown at actual speed, then the gondolas are spaced 8 seconds. Lot faster than 11 seconds.
