Also, the gondolas ability to handle ECVs -- even if it's just the one ECV per cabin and no other guests and even if it means stopping the whole line (which it won't given the extra boarding wheels and the slow moving cabins) -- outstrips buses by the hundreds.
While it will help the worried well with not having to wait for an ECV to be loaded into a bus it should also make for a much more enjoyable experience for the people in ECVs too. It should be much more less of a spectacle.

New aerial of the POP/AOA station from Bioreconstruct. Looks like a much small load and unload area then the other stations.

Looks the same as all the other terminals to me. The part over water is acceleration/ deceleration with doors closed.
Splain that to me. I understand the two section load and unload. The tail end for boarding and disembarking passengers that might need help, but, the closest to the water is on the solid cable. All of that cable will have to go the same speed. There cannot be an acceleration like with the People Mover that is in dependent of the following train and therefore can speed up. If the cable goes faster just outside the station doesn't the entire singular directly looped cable have to be going the same speed?

When the cabin approaches the part with the tire wheels, it disconnects from the cable. Cable continues to go through station at high speed with no cabins attached. The cabins are moved by the tire wheels which slows them down for un/load and then speeds them up to the point where they latch on again to the high speed cable and head out the station.

OK, I had forgotten about the tire part, so every single Gondola, one way or the other, disconnects from the main cable and reconnects again a little further out! Gotcha!

These pictures look great. Lots of progress. Based on the level of completion and the pace of work I would estimate we are within 6 months of being operational. Does that seem about right? I know they need the ropes installed, but all but the Riviera station look pretty far along. All of the towers are built now too right?

The ones in Hourglass lake still need to be done.

And that doesn't seem like it is the easiest to accomplish. I'd think that would take a while working on the water. Pouring concrete letting it cure, etc. Pulling the cable is probably not all that complicated. I'm sure they have equipment to do that with. Rigging it might take a while but then there is the matter of hundreds of Gondolas to actually hook up and space, tune speeds, etc. I stick with the original completion date as I see it now.
I count 43 pallets of hangers. If there are 4 to a pallet, that would mean 172 gondolas. I also spot one haul cable, five towers, lots of grip crates and maybe one cabin under a blue tarp.

You left out the three Porta-potty's. I wonder if they have AC?
