I count 43 pallets of hangers. If there are 5 to a pallet, that would mean 215 gondolas. I also spot one haul cable, five towers, lots of grip crates and maybe one cabin under a blue tarp.

Where is the haul cable? And does an opening in 6 months seem feasible? I mean they have been building this whole thing with a remarkable pace!

But where's Waldo?

Seriously though - where is the spool of cable? I'm missing it. (My kids always beat me at Waldo too)

ok, hold the phone a minute. what cabin? i didnt see any pics of the cabins yet.

side note, i recently went to six flags on a 95+ degree day here, and, for the first time EVER since i been going, the skyride was actually open, and it turned out to be the coolest ride in the whole park. with the breeze blowing thru i didnt need ac, and the cabins dont just slow down on that one, they stop if needed. the op pushes the car around. granted that i doubt this will be able to do that based on the size of the cabins but no mater what the size, type, layout of a cable lift/gondola is, the principle is the same. no need for ac and load/unload is easy and efficiant

I’ve been on many of them, including at both DL and MK. Everything you say is true except all the concept pics for this system show windows.....correct? So no breeze.

That is probably a safety feature to keep you from spilling your drink with no top or straw on the people below. ;)

But it could still spill out of the air vents..... But that’s OK. There’ll only be hungry gators underneath for most of the whole 5 minutes!

With Lift Blog's post above it seems WDW could make a game by naming the poles after states and kids could read them off as they passed and check that they passed them all. Like license plates on car trips and might teach a bit at the same time.
Just wonder if Guam or Puerto Rico is the 51st!

You'll be glad there's no straws or lids when your clothes spontaneously burst into flame from the concentrated rays of the sun.

This is a really great idea!

They could have the flag and shape of each state painted on as well!

Until PR or Guam, 51 could be a generic US one.
