Thomas Mazloum has really gone over the top assuring all the roast theorists that they are wrong

Mr Mazloum should be forced to ride the monorail during the day during the summer months for several hours at a time. We’ll see how quickly his appreciation of heat, sweat, and stank change how he does things.

Exactly, which is why they wait until after the season so they don't need to be shutting down there new transportation within weeks of grand opening.
The parks will be closed during a hurricane so what's the difference if the gondola is shut down? With the cabins stored a hurricane isn't going to damage the steel towers or cables.

Do gondolas systems else where always shut down during lightning ? They run trains and trams during all weather . I would think wind would be a bigger worry

One thing that I don't remember seeing addressed on this thread is audio. Will there be a way to have safety messages (monorail) or information/advertisements (bus) like they do on other forms of transportation? There will be power for lighting but have not heard about if that will be used for other purposes.

Just four pages of posts come up when you search for "audio."

Next week? That' quick!
All kidding aside, it took almost 2 months to go the last 100 pages. Someone posted back then that it would open when we got to 1000 pages. As a result, I kind of always kept an eye on the total pages. Looks to me like it will open after we get to 1000 pages, unless people finally get bored of telling roasting jokes.

Every concern voiced in the past few pages has been discussed several times already. The gondolas are going to open as planned. If the concerns prove to be accurate, we will definitely hear about it. If they are not, hopefully no news is good news. Or people might even report that there are no issues with heat, storms, wheelchairs/scooters, load time, etc.

Time will tell - and opening date is getting closer, so please try to curb your speculations until then. Thank you.

How long will it take before the first gondola is singed by lightning? And I wonder how long an E-stop will last on average?

Lighting hitting an actual car would be very unlikely since there are wires strung above the line that are specifically designed to protect the cars from this. E-stops should also be very rare, if they happen it will probably be due to a pretty big mechanical failure.

I am hearing that they are going to bring the Yeti From EE over and place him just inside the tree line somewhere for people to view and find? any truth to this rumor? at this speed and view, it should be fun to look for him, AND if he moves it would be awesome.

I imagine e-stops due to intrusions will actually be quite common. If someone does stupid human tricks like crossing into the path of gondolas... or people climb fences near the stations... they'll be forced to do an emergency stop.

Imagine someone getting stuck in a door.. someone not clearing the cabin in time... someone walking where they are not supposed to be. Lots of risks for guests to do stupid things..

The question will be is in the operating setup how much they can force a full stop of the cabins without requiring a safety reset.. vs incidents that require a full emergency stop. They should be able to slow/stop the cabins easily I would suspect.. but what conditions the Operating guide under Disney may require a panic stop could be more common..
