"El Gran Magnifico"

Mr Flibble is Very Cross.
I've read there are six miles of cable - assuming that is from IG to DHS. Traveling at 11 mph it should roughly be able to make a round trip journey - just over an hour. So assuming a Gondola from DHS to IG would be roughly 30 minutes of air time (discounting any transfer or wait time to get on board)?

Am I doing the math right? So you can walk, float, or fly and it's about the same amount of time? Not complaining, just trying to figure it out.

No. If it was 6 miles remember it is in loops so divide it by 2. 3 miles. Now divide by number of routes. That gives us approx 1 mile of travel if all three routes were same length. They aren't. But for arguments sake that is about a 5.5 minute ride. I believe the approx ride times have already been posted above.

In case you are serious ...... No. More like 8 minutes of ride time.

@MisterPenguin has a handy map, which he last posted a few pages back.

Back in Sept 2018, Martin called it.

11mph. And a bit.

@Sirwalterraleigh, what was the PCQ for that one?

Ummmmm... ... ...

“Inside a gondola, twin wooden benches can carry up to 10 people.”

Wonder what number of guests the avg WDW gondola will ACTUALLY go out with...

10 people?? That's like how they want to cram 4 of us in It's A Small World or River Journey. That ain't happening! Do we have to stand in these things like the buses?

How much room do you need? These benches allocate over 18" for each of the 10 guests and that's pretty wide for a transit seat and wider than a bus seat. If you have a couple kids on a gondola, you get more room. It'll be fine.

Ok 4 adults may work if it's 7 1/2 ft, maybe thats the same as Living with the Land? Pandora & small world must be like 6 ft and 4 wide adults are crunched.

It’s been said to be up to 10 people all along.

I don’t see them stuffing these full with as many as they can but they are going to fill them as needed.
I had heard they were made for 10 for some time. I guess hearing that confirmed — that they’d actually suggest that 10 avg. WDW tourists are going to generally fit in this...

Just seems nutty to me. Highly doubt the avg will be close to that.
