Nothing much happening today at the Pop station. The roofs of the station are still being worked on. Whereas before I reported that the metal roof was perforated and thus not a good protection from rain, they are now adding an non-porous layer to the roofing.

Here's the new restrooms on the AoA side...

Just received an email disclosing that there will be gondola construction during my late May trip, when I'll be staying in Art of Animation. I know that other posters and I were hoping that our May and June 2019 trips would fall within the earliest reaches of the possible opening window suggested by insiders, but that definitely isn't happening.

Even though Disney literally stated so, I still am surprised they're going to let it sit all summer and wait until Fall 2019 when Riviera opens to let guests on.

They are some very small bathrooms. One person at a time?

Someone going in September reported getting the same email, so I'm not putting a lot of stock in that.

They're likely staff facilities for the CMs working at the station. With no room on the actual platform, they still have to provide facilities within a short distance.
That or they don't anticipate the need for high capacity restrooms. There are plenty in the park at one end and your hotel room is at the other end of your journey. How many people will need a restroom at the gondola station?

Plus, you'll sweat it all out on the gondola anyway! :)

Unless ppl are at CBR need to catch an internal bus to the gondola station. Combine the normal "use the restroom before we leave" but 🤣 then 5 minutes later a kid needs one again

lets just say the wheels are 10 inches in diameter...what then?

Then the diameter is 10pi inches. You count how many times the wheel turns in a minute (for accuracy), which is the number of diameters that passed by per minute. Then the speed of the rope is NumberOfTurns10*pi inches/minute. You then ask Google to translate that into miles/sec.

i thought you were going to do that if someone gave you the diameter?
