#fatzerwireropes -- the hashtag for the company, appreciable number of tweets

#chairlift -- exactly what you think: anything related to chairlifts, lifts of pics from chair lifts

#fatzer -- "Fatzer" may be in the name of the company, but it's also a common last name, and so, the tweets with this hashtag are all over the place. In fact, I'm a bit peckish now for some Fatzer Sweets

#steelwireropes -- seems like two industry providers of steel ropes have used this hashtag, but just about a dozen times

#worldclasswireropes; #strandedrope; #ropewayropes -- these three hashtags have exactly one tweet, the one we're all looking at. That would have made these the most ridiculous hashtag if it weren't for...

#swissquality -- nothing to do with the steel rope industry, just a Swiss pride hashtag which includes just about everything Swiss, include Swiss marijuana.

Hard to read through all those hashtags, but your last line caught my attention. Is this to mean there will be brownies served on board? If so, how do we keep them out of the hands of the little ones? #ThinkoftheChildren!

Bio is indestructable! Posting MNSSHP pics late last night and posting heli shots in the wee hours of the morning today.
Could those be covered cabins I'm spotting on the AoA parking lot? It seems like an odd location to store them but they're all aligned and have the same shape.
Also, I'm really liking what they're doing at DHS with the shape of the new buildings.

They are probably just the mechanical components for the AOA station since none of that assembly has started yet.,

I don't mean the ones wrapped in blue, but the other ones marked in yellow on the photo below. Unless I'm imagining things those look cabin-shaped.

It’s tough to tell from the distance but I think those are the hanger arms for the cabins rather than cabins themselves. They are galvanized and usually come stacked in 4s upside down. Someone should peak over the fence and count the pallets for an idea of the total number of cabins.

The cabins should come wrapped in white plastic.

@Lift Blog, A question about the ropes, you mentioned that they could manufacture one rope and cut it onsite into three pieces or deliver three ropes. Is it on one spool and what do you anticipate the weight of the ropes to be? I looked for longest 54mm rope and get many returns on the largest but nothing on longest. 334 tons was the heaviest, I think that was a 4000m 12 inch (308mm) so these would be much less. I know our roads will do 120,000 lbs for one truck with overweight permits and special routing to avoid substandard bridges but standard is 80,000 for a 40 foot trailer and truck.
Any insight is welcome as you have truly brought a note of sanity, professionalism and expert knowledge to this thread. I don't know what you must think of the disnuts that reside here......

TIG rope will be approximately 16,500'
THS rope ~7,900'
TPD 6,200'
Total 30,600'
54 mm wire rope weighs around 12.3 lbs. per foot.
Total weight 376,380 lbs. or 188 tons. It will probably be three separate spools.

Side note when I went to get those distances, Google Earth now shows gondola construction. There's been a ton of progress in the last six months.

No, no, no. The line heading to DHS isn't perpendicular to the Pop-CBR-Riviera and so that pitched roof is at a slant. The whole structure needs to be torn down and built about 20 yard to the south. Start again!

I'm right there with ya! My first thought when I saw that picture was, "Why couldn't they build the system so that the roof could be straight?????" I will need to take an Ativan every time I look at that picture. :D
