Generally when I have seen issues it is from people "pre partying" in the parking lot and coming in largely drunk to start
Same. Honestly only ever seen it during Food and Wine on Saturday nights—locals who show up with a few drinks in their system, ready to “drink around the world.”

Oddly, someone did spill their drink on my wife on NYE a couple years back but it was a teenager with a soda placed on a trash can/table lol…

Actually, there is an expanding market for high-priced mocktails but, as others have said, if capacity is low here, that’s unnecessary. Oga’s has a large collection of mocktails, as I suspect the pirate lounge will.
Don’t knock sippy cup shots until you’ve tried it.

DCL has had adult only areas on their ships since they launched, this is a non issue and I think will make it even more popular
With few exceptions (Palo, Remy, Cove Cafe), that’s only at night. Quite a different market, too. They encourage you to put your kids in the Oceaneer Club so you can go. No such option at WDW. I’m sure they imagine Disney Adults can fill this one bar. We will see.

Ironic as it sounds... Epcot kinda needs more bars and/or replace existing ones with higher capacity ones?

Existing Epcot Bars
  • Space 220 Lounge - small
  • Choza de Margarita - always busy
  • La Cava del Tequila - jam-packed & small
  • Tutto Gusto - just ok
  • Rose & Crown - miserable experience with how crowded it is
  • Block & Hans
  • Regal Eagle bar
The rest are snack stands serving pre-mixed or canned drinks.

I’m just laughing that “Geo 82” is the best name they could come up with especially since Epcot has historically had such creative names…Also the park is really getting unbearable with alcohol. The amount of sloshed people I’ve seen in showcase in the evenings legitimately makes me feel uncomfortable. Now the booze will invade Future World too…

Because "Alcohol Lounge 82" sounded too pedestrian.

I largely only drink mocktails, anyway. Never been one for alcohol on a hot day, which is pretty much every day at WDW. Lucky if I have alcohol once on a week-long vacation.
Pro Tip: Orange Bird can hold a lot of Whiskey!
