Trader Sams is 21+ after 8PM, but certainly a bold move for an in-park experience.

Bizarre choice, probably a capacity concern of theirs.

I think the age requirement is another way of reducing demand due to very limited capacity. They know it is going to be very hard to move people out of the lounge once they are there, and capacity is already low.

I’m just laughing that “Geo 82” is the best name they could come up with especially since Epcot has historically had such creative names…Also the park is really getting unbearable with alcohol. The amount of sloshed people I’ve seen in showcase in the evenings legitimately makes me feel uncomfortable. Now the booze will invade Future World too…

I go to Epcot on a weekly basis... it isn't an issue. You rarely encounter a guest that drunk, Disney CMs do a pretty good job of preventing that from happening. You definitely shouldn't feel uneasy at Epcot.

I think the lack of alcohol in Disney drinks and the high price point would make it fairly difficult to be super drunk at EPCOT. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I don't think it's a major issue on most days.

It’s a binary choice…you can either “love your Disney” as they’ve abandoned investing for the family market to save money and drive prices up to “serve” a self important adult skewing crowd…

…or you can reject what has been happening for 20 years…

Don’t parse…don’t try to make “a la carte” preferences. The baby is glued to the bathwater at this point (but not welcome until they have credit to buy stuff )

Generally when I have seen issues it is from people "pre partying" in the parking lot and coming in largely drunk to start
