The site that shall not be named had a photo of a box set of such pins, complete with the color coding. I think it's a D23 exclusive, but I intend to find a way to get them.

EDIT: Someone already has the set on sale on eBay for $600, and there are individual ones for $40 each. I ain't THAT rich.

Ok so I won't be getting them just yet then!

I don't usually buy pins, but if they released a set with these new ride logos, I'll be getting a set.
If you want a set right now...well...

Another set went up today for $600 as well.

Yes, of all the resorts Walt Disney World has the blandest logo while its original logo is one of the most distinctive. Even the similar Disneyland Paris logo pops more due to the arrangement of the letters and fonts.

Honestly, of all of them I think the retro WDW logo is the most eye catching and the best piece of design. The new one looks like something someone whipped up in a Word document during the 1990s with zero thought.
Heck, even a minor update to the classic WDW logo would be good (such as sparkles or a special anniversary variation).

Or a different font for World!

Still, the original logo is kind of genius in how it incorporates a visual shorthand for the resort. That they still use the globe with mouse ears inside the D despite officially dropping this logo indicates how effective it is.

A decent adaption of the original typography. Thumbs up in my book overall; long live all caps EPCOT.
Agreed. The negative space seems very unbalanced (something that the original wordmark addressed effectively). However, the new wordmark is a huge improvement over what we had and a welcome addition. Also love the icon system!

I’ll give the Disney executives credit... they’re very savvy with how they are rolling out the changes to Epcot. They are appeasing the fan base with superficial nostalgia (logos, Epcot Forever, entrance plaza and fountain), while simultaneously dismantling half of the original Epcot’s purpose. No more Future World and the abandonment of technology/innovation themes in favor of “celebration.” I’m not complaining—overall I’m happy with the decisions. But you can tell they’re trying to avoid backlash from the older fans.

OMG! New logo starts OCT 1st on Guidemap!!!! Most likely Times Guide as well.....

MK'S new Guidemap starts OCT 1st with a perfect pic of HEA on the cover!

Got this from OTPN, can't post the link now.
Do we know when they will finally start using the newer logos for the other attractions?

I don't think attractions logos have been in Epcot Guidemap since the 80's?? WDW doesn't even do show logos in the Times Guides like DL. Wonder if we'll see EF's logo anywhere else other than online?

The Magic Kingdom really needs to get its original logo back, especially as we approach 50 years of the Vacation Kingdom.
Which is the original? (I'm seriously not a fan of the Microsoft-looking font they currently use. It reminds me of Lucida Handwriting, but instead of a cheesy attempt at a hand-written script, it's a cheesy attempt at Old English calligraphy.)
