Good call, considering I have seen one single construction worker there in the last four weeks and I'm at BW multiple times a week. Yikes. Most of the "Expected to open in 2023" statements have been recently removed from The Cake Bake Shop website.

It has pretty been just a couple of people since it bagan. Two or Three guys are single handidly building this place. No chance its opening in 2023.Good call, considering I have seen one single construction worker there in the last four weeks and I'm at BW multiple times a week. Yikes.
Seems like it needs more dough.I guess that is one cake shop that won't be rising to the occasion any time soon. I guess they did not put enough dough into this production. Maybe the idea is just too half baked. It’s a pity because the former restaurant had a nice mix of sugar and spice but alas this one appears to be getting stale as everything has been baking out in the sun for a little too long. With this recent storm battering this construction I doubt this will be any form of tasty addition to the boardwalk for quite some time.
Theme it to the turn of the century and it's closer to theme than about half the establishments at Boardwalk anywayHow about a high class New Jersey strip club?
It would honestly be fun if a place had a “secret” downstairs prohibition-era bar.Theme it to the turn of the century and it's closer to theme than about half the establishments at Boardwalk anyway
Another one?It would honestly be fun if a place had a “secret” downstairs prohibition-era bar.
I understand after they finish this next year, “the guys” will then focus on converting TriceraTop Spin into the Moana spinner ahead of its highly-anticipated 2030 opening.I was wondering where the TRON construction team went after it opened. Thanks for the update.
This, but see that makes too much sense, which Disney and TDO doesn't have any more for the most part. This cake place really should have been in Disney Springs... and Im guessing someone ran out of money here....This had to be one of the stupidest decisions in the past few years.
I get that ESPN wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but a restaurant with later hours and a good amount of seating is something this area needed. A refresh of ESPN would have been far more logical than this nonsense that will probably never open.
For sure not the same but we learned recently that Yak and Yeti has a secret bar menu.It would honestly be fun if a place had a “secret” downstairs prohibition-era bar.
Oh, so any Jersey Shore beach pavilion! How about a high class New Jersey strip club?

Wait, I thought nobody wanted sports anything at WDW.This had to be one of the stupidest decisions in the past few years.

Joe Rohde, if he were still with WDI, could pull off a kind of immersive realism here that even New Jerseyites would want to move here.Oh, so any Jersey Shore beach pavilion!
