I am glad that they gave you the info you needed. I wish that they were open about it all, like the other theme parks are.
That was my biggest issue with them and as i said som cordial mature emails and follow ups went a long way and i was approved on thing i will say is that i received an email literally the morning the “changes” were made with more than basic generic bs Maybe a coincidence maybe not but its what my experience was

Again; it’s not which is “bad enough”. I honestly don’t know how to explain it differently to you as you seem to be choosing to not understand. There is a difference between something that will happen all the time in a queue and something that will happen sometimes. Do you not see that? Accommodations are not the same for all disabilities, as you’ve stated, so why should all disabilities get DAS?
I KNOW what you are saying. But I don't agree with it. Who says that all Autistic kids are incapable of waiting in some lines? Every kid has their own trigger. For some it is the length of time in the lines, some it is being closed in, some the dark, for my niece, it is the noises, etc. You are trying to pigeon hole autistic people saying that they absolutely can not wait in any traditional line, while saying that everyone else can find a way for this other accommodation to work for them. That is not reality.

NO ONE is saying all autistic kids can’t wait in lines and need DAS. We’ve said so multiple times.

Im just curious for those denied DAS but offered the RTQ when/if needed. What is the problem with that? Listen i get being split from parties is not ideal but again if that is what is offered and a legit accommodation. What more does one want? And lets face it. Anyone who needs DAS the majority does not in theory need it for the entire time so they can still spend time in line with capable family members….

I am still waiting to hear what they do with solo guests or those with 1 adult and young children.
Again i was asked not to go public with what was told to me on how it works all ill say is that as explained it is way more than acceptable as an alternative and if people dont feel that way then they are simply not being realistic (full disclosure there are multiple reasons they will do their best to keep this info from the public and im actually shocked noone has publicly posted specifics).

Then RTQ would work correct?
Possibly. Most of the people being approved for DAS are children who can’t be left alone, so it would be quite a bit harder than when it’s only adults. Having this small group have different access, because again it’s needed in all queues, might make less work for Disney than them approaching a CM at every ride (because they need it at every ride). Not sure why Disney decided to go that route.

Hopefully people got smart after last time. They likely don’t want access taken away from everyone, so are smart not to share…

But adults with RTQ can wait with 1 other guest as well correct? So the family can split the same way and meet up with the group at the merge point.
In some situations yes, in others no. It will depend on the traveling party and if more than 1 adult is needed to care for the disabled child or not. I honestly think Disney believes they are saving themselves time by having DAS for this small percentage. Because, like I said, they would need to discuss at every single queue. I mean really, it’s Disneys choice to make there 🤷🏻‍♀️

I wasn't asking you to say anything. It was more that I wish Disney would be more forthright about their procedures. Why all the secrecy if what they are offering works so well? Seems strange. But I was under the impression that Disney won't talk to anyone about it unless you already have a trip booked.

IMO the reason for the secrecy is to stop people from overwhelming the system. If it got out, those even without disabilities will try and use it
