I thought this was supposed to be some kind of photo op area?
There has got to be better things planned for this than yet another home for strollers.
There are plans to add a photo op related to the TCM deal, but obviously this wasn't it.
"I don't know what this'll really look like, but I don't like it!"That is NOT going to stop people here from complaining before they even have a shred of enlightenment upon the subject.
Do we have a timeline for this yet? Sorry if it has been asked previously. It's gotta be before SWW, right?
the green poles in the shrubbery is likely to hold some kind of signage, since they are painted go away green, and not bare(water, waste, conduit, is not normally painted before the final stages of construction. the sheer quantity of these poles sticking up makes me think 'sign' a la LMAOr maybe the photo opp area is going to be on the ride itself, or after you disembark the ride but prior to leaving the show building and this little structure outside will house the screens where you can link the picture to the magic band.
well, not really, more like the sign boards for Epcot FW E and Wthe green poles in the shrubbery is likely to hold some kind of signage, since they are painted go away green, and not bare(water, waste, conduit, is not normally painted before the final stages of construction. the sheer quantity of these poles sticking up makes me think 'sign' a la LMA
It's also possible it's not done yet and the actual photo op won't be installed until the TCM sponsorship stuff goes live. There are plans to add a photo op related to the TCM deal, but obviously this wasn't it.

That picture just reminds me of two things:
- How out of place that hat is and how much room it takes up
- How pretty that structure is and wish they could find a place to put it (animation courtyard?)
Yikes. Taking their sweet time, aren't they?Spontanious trip to disney yesterday, no camera, no selfie stick BUTTTTTTTT my arm was long enough to get two pics over the wall while standing on a curb.

We don't even know what the plan is for this area, so we don't know when it will be completed, either.
Based on their plans with adding the stage, I don't think the hidden mickey is going to be all that recognizable. Unless they try real hard to make it fit in a nose shape. I like the idea though. There is an inherent irony in how most of us wished they would remove a giant Mickey hat in front of the Chinese Theatre to restore a giant Hidden Mickey in front of the Chinese Theatre.
We get an awesome view of the theater only to be blocked by an ugly stage.
Seriously? Another stage?
I really don't understand the need for this one, or the one at MK.
