New costumes will be given out starting Feb 17. All drivers must be in new costume by Apr 5. Thats according to the bulliten. However i would assume that they meant that the first day of wearing the new costume is Apr 5, rather than letting us wear both from feb 17-Apr 5. So there it is. Bullitens are up at TTC and DTD cast service building with pics of the new costume. These are the costumes that came in back in Nov. but Disney didnt get the jackets and thus made us wear the purples all winter.

I'm not a fan of those costumes. They don't match the transportation logo on the side of the bus, nor the interior of the bus.... unless they plan to change that too.

Yes but they are dignified for the CM's wearing them. You have just said the purple was ridiculous so why should people have to wear something that makes them look like a clown driving a bus.

I think this is a big improvement.
They look more professional which means guests may show more respect for the drivers which was sometimes a problem. Much more official looking and fitting for someone who has the lives of 80 people or so in his or her hands when the bus is full.
They dont look like they came from a past Mardi Gras parade.
The darker colors wont show as much dirt nor become dingy after multiple washings.
As far as not matching, the mardi gras uniforms didnt really match the bus either. They simply included some of the colors from the Disney transport logo.
THis is a major step forward in portraying a better image of DIsney transportation after last year's several unfortunate events.

I don't feel they look like clowns, but they look better than the new outfits. The new ones seem very gloomy and dark.I'm just curious if this may lead to other changes. TTC & the transportation logo really matched their outfits... will there be a redesign of TTC & the logo?

Please oh please oh please let this happen. The TTC is really in dire need of a remodeling. :dazzle:
As for the unifroms, need to see them in person, but inital thought is kinda meh. Nothing spectacular, but they are more dignified and professional which I like.

They seem better suited for an airline in my opinion. The mens hat is a bit much. They do look stuffy. IF I were a driver I'd rather wear the purple. At least the purple has some....personality. Always thought the purple got a bad rap.

I am not a fan of the pockets. I would love to see the buses slowly become more styled instead of the existing buses which are "Disney" just because they have some bright colors thrown about.
Regardless of matching, the Transportation & Ticket Center just needs to be redone. It looks like a clown vomited all over the place. The colored parts are not integrated, just tacked onto what was there.
