I saw them last week and thought they were Tomorrowland CMs at first glance.

slightly off topic, but did anyone else notice that tomorrowland CMs wer plain black pants now instead of grey ones with black detailing? Not a big detail, but I liked the look of them better before...

Well with the new costumes in hand... I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned that we are currently getting some new buses. They look a little bigger.. almost like the local Lynx bus system buses. And the interiors don't have any purple in them from what i could see..... Oh also, they don't have mickey balloon decals =)

I'll try and get a picture today when I'm at the parks or on my way to work

They are the same size as the other Nova busses in the fleet. The bright white and the new arrangement of the engine in the rear appear to make them larger though.

There are 10 of them total at the moment.

While this is all well and good that they are upgrading the fleet, it does seem a little oddly timed, especially considering the recent rash of unfortunate events.

It's as if TDO is diverting attention away from the recent bad publicity.

Hardly the case but I guess if you are looking for conspiracy you can certainly create such a conclusion.

In reality, the new costumes were planned out some time ago and the date to begin wearing them on April 5 was set at least back in February before any of the accidents happened.

As for the busses:

Most bus manufacturers can only build about 1200 to 1500 busses a year and are often booked up for a couple of years in advance. Its not like buying a car where they are sittingon the lot waiting for customers to peruse them. In light of that, the decision to take delivery of 10 new vehicles was also made well in advance of the accidents. The timing of them being released for daily use was just a matter of receiving the plates from the state and applying logos and such as the busses have been in orlando for at least 2 months.
