and now we will find out that it was all just a joke, and they called a press conference so they could do a jig and dance to disney's version of "Celebration" or "Mambo Number 5."

It's 1:00 :lookaroun

I feel like this is the time before A-Rod signed with the Yanks and it was "almost" confirmed he signed with us and I sat around for hours waiting to hear and it never happened. Not complaining we didn't get him, just saying.....

Hope this has a better result....

so...i am assuming nothing happened. cuz there is no news...

Exactly.
Trust me folks...we'll have the details of any new ride far before any official announcement at the park.
Nothing unknown will be announced before we know about it, unless they say something about ST2 during the Weekends...but I doubt that.

Oooh that would be great ST2, or a new Star Wars Dark ride altogether!! There is just so many possibilities for this!

It just doesnt make any sense to me.

Why wouldn't Disney want to announce this stuff soon? They have a lot of projects underway and all of them will have a big impact on all of the major parks. Are they waiting to make some big deal about Disney World's 40th anniversary? Can you at least tell me that much?

Wouldn't a Star Wars Jedi attraction be really kool, kinda like the Spider man attraction at Universal?

The possibilities are unlimited when it comes to Star Wars!

A Family style dark ride with coaster elements would work wonders for an Incredibles Attraction.

Start out going through the attraction "meeting" the Incredibles.

Edna "suits you up" with a really cool new ride vehicle in the preshow.

Jack Jack does something terrible to the house...and you need to maneuver through it avoiding the catastrophe with the help of the Incredibles. Something is falling and Elastigirl catches it before it hits you, Mr. Incredible holds up the room as you go past...and then there's an explosion and Violet puts a force-field around you as Dash pushes the vehicle out of the door.

You meet up with Fro-Zone and he tells you about a mission.

You cruise along getting directions from the Incredible Team via a screen in your ride vehicle and Fro-Zone cruises alongside you on a trail of ice.

The "tentacled ball thing" stomps down in front of you and as one of the "feet" come down to stomp on you, Fro-Zone freezes it. Elastigirl instructs you to grab ahold of your blasters and stop the oncoming objects that it is throwing. You don't get points for destroying things, you get points for protecting the "Team."

Depending on how well you do, you either get disciplined by Edna...or you come home to a hero's welcome as Jack Jack goes crazy right before the unload.

This sounds a lot like Spiderman over at IOA. I LOVE that ride and would love it for Disney to have something similar.

Anything on any announcement yet???

Lee, didn't the official confirmation of American Idol catch some of us by surprise?
