Or how about a system where you pay less to get into the park, but have to pay for tickets to ride the rides. They could price the tickets so that the more popular rides are more expensive. This would be revolutionary!
It's real and here is proof.

Or more importantly will guests try to sell/purchase them from other guests? It's not like it didn't happen at Epcot. Now the important question is what to the slips of paper look like? Can I collect them?
Now the big questions...what time did you arrive and how long did it take to get your return ticket?
This seems a bit crazy. Spend $2 billion on MyMagic+ and we are back to handing out bits of paper?
Part of the idea behind the original Fastpass, as they sold it to the public years ago, was to get guests out of line so they could "experience other things", like gift shops and restaurants, at least that's what Disney was hoping.
You just can't have your guests waiting in line all day for 30 seconds of meeting bliss with two sisters.
You sure can, if that's how they choose to spend their time.
I don't even understand the point of this? I thought with the extra hours they were keeping the princesses for, this whole 5 hour line business had been diminished???
Or why didn't they just go FP+ only for the princesses? I remeber talk of that awhile ago where certain characters would be FP+ only? This is just stupid...
Exactly! But how on earth will they spend money on souvenirs & food if they're stuck in line?!?!
