The ride seems to have been about 3.5 min. It was a VERY slow ride, slower than pooh, snow white, or SSE. It took you down the slow tunnel and spun you around and brought you back. I figure a minute each way seemed about right.... 45 to get to and 45 from the tank and you have 3.5. There was no reason to BUZZ you through the fish tank... this was the highlight of the pavilion.. might as well let visitors enjoy it. It's nice to see multiple attraction pavilions back. I remember spending at least 2-3 hours at each way back when. This is GREAT, no matter how you look at it. A better ride than there used to be... and an actual ride compared to the Ride-less pavilion. It wasn't the funnest place to go and just look at a fish tank. Next up IMAGINATION 4.0! (I miss you upstairs playground).

I must say I find it rather funny...
I'm not surprised, either. With the two being developed at the same time, with a similar general premise, I would feel confident in the assumption that they will share many similarities.

In addition, the rumored new track in one of hte two old theaters would increase the length of the attraction.....also, if it is changed to a central load and unload point, instead of a load => ride => unload =>empty return like it had...the ride would be longer.

There are plenty of fish but dosen't seem to be as diverse as it used to be, more like just atlantic kinda off the florida cost type fish. And as for Corals Sorry but I sure don't remember seeing real coral their? Just a lot of fake coral things. I wonder how long it takes to scrub the algae off all that fake coral? I have a good question has anybody seen any crusteacens in that tank? Maybe crabs or shrimp hiding from the aggresive fish?

I'm pretty sure the coral is real...

and if its not, then im gonna feel REAL stupid. :hammer:

yeah for sure all the coral is fake...I have a small fish tank and maintaining live coral is a pretty complicated so in a large tank like that. I don't think they could do it. Especially with the fish they have there that like to snap and eat coral. (i.e. parrot fish)

That is correct. Unfortunately, there a major concerns about keeping corals that are older and endangered. WIth the "sea base" theme, the corals you would find at the bottom would be very rare, so that wasn't an option. However, they do (or did) have some coral around if I remember correctly.

Don't worry. All the rocks and wood throughout the resort are still real.

Well, I for one, find that to be a huge relief. I was begin to question everything! :lookaroun

According to the video I have from start to finish the old ride was 2.5 minutes.
Well, that sounds much closer. Thanks. ;)

JimboJones, your memory of the ride is a little off. There wasn't a "first tunnel". Once you boarded, you almost immediately went into a turn to the left, and then, again, almost immediately into the large circle which went around to the right. You completed about 75% of the circle, the you made a right into the final tunnel. The tunnel was only about 50-75 feet long, then the ride was over. Everytime I rode it, I wanted more, and I'm quite certain most everyone felt that way.

They're taking out one of the theatres and making it track aren't they? That should extend the time a bit.
Only one theater? Has this been semi-confirmed, or is it just speculation. There is much more room for them to work with here. They could at least have room for larger sets.

I hope they use as much space as they possibly can. Between the two sit-down theaters, the circlevision theater, and the hyrdolators, there is a ton of room for expansion. They can even make the ride move a little faster, too.

Then again, look at the length of the new Imagination ride vs the original... =/

Well as far as I've heard, which in no way should be taken as fact, the circle vision is now part of the queue. I'm pretty sure one of the theaters will be taken out. Don't know about the other. I'm just hoping that the ride is fun, because LS has been lacking for, I don't know, six years maybe.
