Getting psyched for the greatest day in Motorsports. Monaco in the morning, Indy 500 in the afternoon, and the Coke 600 at night. Plus, Kurt Busch is racing in the Indy 500 and the Coke 600.

Wow, that's a lotta races for one day!! :)

Also, I would think that Kurt would be exhausted after one race, let alone two. I'm not sure this is the best choice for him. I understand both races happen to fall on the same day; but with the cerebral energy it takes for these expert drivers to manage just one race, I would think that he'd be less than at his optimal ability, by the time the 2nd race rolls around. This will be interesting to observe today . . . ;)

I think the only other drivers to to do this are John Andretti and Tony Stewart. Stewart is the only one to complete all 1100 miles!

Maybe someone can weigh in on this: did I just "think" I heard that Chad Knaus "might" depart Hendrick, and take a new course—as a sports commentator for one of the major TV networks? o_O

He'd be an idiot if he did that. That boy can basically write his own checks at Hendrick- leaving would be detrimental to the health of Mr Hendrick's golden calf. I don't see that happening for quite a few years from now.

I think you're thinking of Dale Jr's crew chief Steve LeTarte, who is going to NBC.

Oh, that explains it! I knew I heard that "one" of the crew chiefs was leaving, and for some odd reason, I thought I heard Chad's name. Thank you for clearing up the confusion; I'll need to pay more attention from now on! ;)
