So, I managed to grab a couple of pics of a pretty sizable recycling plant fire, about 40 km away. (That should tell you how big the smoke was, even from this distance.)
Here's (obviously) the same fire, a few biking minutes closer to it.
And here's a random video of a train I recorded/came within about 30 seconds of being run over by. Thank you, incessant crossing signals...
