No, not Chit Chat here. But the "first page" threads. That was a definite draw.
I think the more access people have the more interested they'll become.
Just my opinion, but it's food for thought.

But then what would members have if they can read chit chat without signing up?

Members get to Post in the Chit Chat threads!
That's a big difference.
At the very least, imagine a non-member reading one of the game threads and thinking "I know that answer" or "I've got a good response to that". . .
That is incentive to join!

I guess you're right....

But what about threads like this one? Huggle-type threads? Other people who we haven't gotten to know yet reading all of our business?

I'm not trying to play Devil's Advocate, just thinking of different things.

A. Devil's Advocate is good

B. All they have to do to access these types of threads is join, it takes only a little bit of time.....There are what, some several thousand ppl here who can read this thread...

C. One thing I find is that threads like these where there is a tight fellowship and camraderie are intimidating. Ppl read them for a long time before they ever say anything.....
