Smoking Lounge

Maybe they make a clear box with a seal tight door like a recording studio (seen at "Sounds Dangerous") where smokers do their thing. You get to see the health effects as the room gets darker and darker clouding up with smoke. Kids can be brought to watch the smokers slowly disappear in the thickening smoke. A prerecorded message talks about the danger of second hand smoke on our bodies and explains that bars and restaurants actually look just like this in many U.S. and world cities.

1. Smokers enter and get 5 minutes of countdown on a clock.
2. They all cough and hack away while others watch safely from outside.
3. Laugh-floor style meters show the quality of the air dropping.
4. After 5 minutes, fans evacuate the air revealing the clarity lost within the time span.
6. Informative messages play about second hand smoke, cancer, etc.

Yeah, that would do the job!

Scream Box

Actually it's a special sound insulated box. That's the reason it has a top on it. It's for all of us who hate the wand. We are supposed to look up at the wand, quietly enter the box, and then scream as loudly and for as long as we need to, without disturbing other guests. BTW - Monster's Inc. extracts enough energy from it to power all of Future World.

Another innovation brought to you by Disney Imagineering!

Mr. Iger, tear down that wand!

It's the "Official Epcot 25th Anniversary" Cannon. On Epcot's birthday, people will be allowed to take shots at the wand to make a million dreams come true.:lookaroun

I am SO getting in line for that one.:sohappy:

Since it`s in the old teachers center / Discover Gateway area, I could hazard a guess at it`s possible work on the remains of Pool B; I`d guess possibly some pipework or underground plant is still there.
