Alas...sigh...still waiting to get any kind of MB notification on my MDE account. Just got my first AP ever in January of this year--I'm probably near the bottom to get turned over to a MB.

I got my notification, but my daughter didn't. I hope hers comes through also.

Same question. I logged into MDE this morning and saw the ability to customize and order MagicBands. At what point are you able to reserve FP+?

Same question as well. We could care less about getting the bands, we just want to be able to book FP+ as APers using the mobile app. Why is this taking so long?

This morning I just saw a commercial telling Florida APs to log in and see "the changes" which was pretty much magicband availability...I'm not sure if they activated it for just the region or for all APs. Regardless, it's worth the time as an AP to login just to find out.

I totally agree with the last few posts. The main thing for me (as an AP) is to be able to have the advance FP access and mobile app FPaccess while in the park. While the MB will be fun to try out, it's the FP access that I am really looking forward to.

However, still nothing showing up in my MDE, but being very patient

The same for me. I was able to order my magic band today but i was not able to make FP+ selections. There is still a lock on the option.

Is there a way to opt out of MBs completely? I don't mind using them at my resort for charging and having my AP linked to the band, but for my AP, I'd rather have it as a card that goes safely and securely in my wallet.

Yes. When you log in, on the Magic Bands and Cards page, you're given the option of ordering your passholder MB. Ignore it. Of course, that option will always be glaring at you. But if you don't order your MB, you won't receive one.

So, it seems that regardless of whether or not you have an upcoming trip which would already have MBs sent to you, you can also order one for your pass.

Second, this morning I helped someone else add her AP to her MDE account. As soon as the AP was added, she immediately received the choice to order her passholder MB.

Same. I just received my resort reservation Magic Band yet the AP magic bands are shipping Mid-March and I will probably have mine by my next trip. Will the AP band work as a room key and my Magical Express ticket or will that only work with the reservation band?

I would think once your MB's ship and the number is posted to your account you will be able to make FP+. Just guessing.

Any non-Florida AP's get the option to order MB's?

Trying to decide what color to order now.

FINALLY got notice in MDE to personalize and to have MBs shipped! Yay!

Now, the most important part--waiting for that FP+ advance access...but as other said, I don't expect that until the MBs have been shipped and the actual bands are linked into the MDE accounts.

All Bands and RFID cards linked to your profile should work interchangeably for all aspects of MyMagic+.

Thanks everyone- I just ordered mine!! Can't wait to get my bands- FP+ has been frustrating without them. I'm done with waiting in lines at the kiosk stations!! Yeah!
