My Weekend Trip at GF, with P&P

Well, it was the end of my third CP. I had convinced my dad to stay at the GF and go to the P&P party the first night (staying at the GF was a dream of mine). My CP ended August 10, so I needed to be out of my apartment by 11am. We literally finished minutes before 11. So it was off to the GF to see if we were able to check in. If not, at least get keys so in case we didn't come back to the resort before that evening (MK had an EMH). When we arrived, the room wasn't ready yet. So off to Epcot by way of the monorail. We first went to AA to get something to eat, and to see the show. I absolutely love the new video. I feel it is very well done. After seeing the show, we went over to Soarin to get FPs. They were for 5:25-6:25. It was after 2pm at this point, so we decided to go back to GF to see about the room again. Well, at the TTC I decided to split and go over to the MK to see DDCT (since I would not be able to see it the next day, since we were going in on the P&P ticket). I got in with plenty of time to spare, and got settled in at my favorite spot. Here are some pictures from DDCT:

Thanks! I really did. DDCT has always been a favorite of mine. I know you will enjoy it. Back to the TR:

After the parade I went and got to be in the Family Fun Day Parade, which I always enjoy a lot. I was in Horace's section, which is the section I have been in the most. As soon as that was over I decided to stop by the Barber Shop. I have always wanted to go in there, but never had. Since I was done with work I decided, what the heck. So I got my hair done with blue hair gel and little mickeys. As soon as that was over I went over to Frontierland and got to be in the Hoedown! After that it was time to meet up with my dad at the GF, because it was time to head back over to Epcot and ride Soarin. When we got to Soarin, standby was a 90 minute wait. So it was nice to have the FPs. We were able to ride in the front row, which was amazing as usual. Even though we were on the far-left side, it didn't matter. In fact, when it turned it felt very realistic. After Soarin we went over to Italy where we had an ADR (for the last time, because Alfrado's is leaving). But before we went inside, we stopped to watch the WS Players doing the Romeo and Edna show. I love that show, as well as the Holy Grail show in the UK. I was able to get a picture with one of my favorite performers:

Dinner was good, as always. It is a place my family always goes to eat. I had a mixed-greens salad, pasta, and the BEST chocolate mousse for desert.:slurp: We were originally going to stay for Illuminations after dinner, but since we were going over to the MK for EMH we decided not to stay and left for the MK right after dinner. We got wristbands right in front of the Train Station. My dad ended up not staying after all. But first on my agenda was to see 2nd Spectro, which I did over in Frontierland. After that I did a few rides. First was the Laugh Floor. One of my jokes was selected and read out loud. Then I also did Astro Orbiter and Buzz. Once those were done I decided to go see the new character dance party. It really is very cute. I shot 2 clips on my camera. One is of Pluto and Goofy dancing We're All in This Together:

I stayed at the Dance Party for the rest of the evening, then left to go back to the GF. The next day would be the P&P party!

First stop- the Barber Shop. I wanted to redo my hair for the party. I got Michael (I'm not sure if that is spelled right- sorry if it's not!) to do my hair. I decided on blue hair gel and little mickeys again. He did a lot more hair gel then the other person, but he did a Hidden Mickey on the back. Then me and my dad were off to do rides before the party started. First stop was to do Pirates. Good ride, as always. After Pirates we decided to see PhilharMagic. That show is a family favorite. Then, since we were nearby, we had lunch/dinner at Pinocchio's. I love the veggie pizza there. My dad had not seen the Laugh Floor yet, so we stopped there next. He enjoyed it (and my princess joke was picked). After the show we split up, as I wanted to be in Toontown for the start of the party (at this point, it was almost 6:30pm). So I get there, and prepare to wait. Right before the party was supposed to start, a "guest" comes up and starts arguing with one of the character attendants there. He didn't have a wristband, and apparently he felt that even though he didn't have one, he was entitled to stay in the park, since he was already in the park at the time. He didn't want to listen to the poor guying telling him that the park was officially closed, there were signs up everywhere stating this fact, and that everyone here had purchased tickets for the party. After at least 10 minutes of this, he stomped off. I told the attendant that he had done a good job, since this guy had been really rude. Anyway, the rooms opened and I had chosen the Snow White room first. It was only Snow White and Dopey.

Bad news though. None of the princes were out all evening. That made me sad, as I was looking forward to seeing them. The only guys out were John Smith and Captain Jack. Hopefully next time. Anyway, after I finished those 2 rooms I decided to go find Mickey and Donald. However, it had been pouring while I was in the HOF. So I had to find an umbrella (so my hair wouldn't run) and then I was off. Mickey was not in the Judge's Tent, so I started asking around. He and Donald were in Tomorrowland (go figure) so I was off.

I think your favorite spot for the parade is also mine..we always sit right outside the Emporium before the Barber Shop..:)

I then decided to check out the Tomorrowland Dance Party. Chip and Dale were out when I arrived, and it was almost empty. It was crazy! Anyway, I was able to get pictures of the Chipmunks (after they insisted I get in the picture as well).

Then I was off to see the first parade. It was good, just arrived a little late due to the storm. I actually got a good Captain Jack Sparrow and a decent Tink picture (well, compared to last year). I will post the parade pictures later. As soon as the parade was over I was off to Liberty Square. I was looking for a band, but they were out later. So I stopped to see Pocahontas and John Smith. They were awsome!

While I was in line for Goofy and Pluto, a guest had mentioned how her family had gotten pictures with Aladdin. I knew he was only in a show, so I decided to check that out. It turned out to be really good. I recommend it to everyone, as it is really cute.
