That brings up an interesting question. Given Disney's progressive nature, I wonder if they would allow men to get a princess makeover?

I wondered if they would eventually introduce male makeovers in general. You can have the prince to match the princess or whatever. I can see it being fun for wedding parties, etc.

More money for the mouse. Makes sense.

I don’t know what would happen if a guy went in tomorrow for a princess makeover. I’d imagine they’d just do it, unless it’s a female-only salon. (Is that a thing?)

No man is going have a princess makeover with that quality of results. They could easily do better themselves.

It's stupid when Disney's making money offering substandard service. That effects everyone by lowering the bar of what Disney stands for.

It's not substandard if the people who are using the service are satisfied with their care. I mean, we get it, you don't like it. That doesn't make it stupid, it just means that you don't like it.

If you don't like what they're doing, by all means stay home. More room for me, so they say.

You do understand that only a few short years ago, BBB didn’t have an age limit. There were ladies in their 80’s getting princess makeovers. Quite apparently, people were sad that the practice was changed, and Disney is bringing it back under a new name.
Just because the greedy rodent *can* bring something back doesn't mean the greedy rodent *should* bring something back. :D

If enough people actually want that reeeeeally bad-looking princess makeover, then it will be successful. Hey, people buy Poop emoji hats for their babies. Who am I to judge.

But this does lower the standard of what "Disney quality" means. And, goodness knows, that bar lowers more and more each year. I hate to disappoint you, but just because I don't like something Disney does doesn't mean I automatically hate *everything* Disney does, so there is still a chance you might see me in line in front of you for Big Thunder. But, y'know not everything is black and white. Disney makes masterpieces. Disney also makes some of the stupidest, greediest moves imaginable. It's okay to say, "Y'know, Mouse, that's.... kinda lame. Try harder next time and you might make even *more* money. That would make you smile, right, Oh Mouse? Yeh, I thought so."

Thank goodness we have freedom of speech, and thank goodness people have different opinions. No wants Borg Disney. Well, I guess some people do.... :D

WDWMagic forum isn't the government, fortunately the admins and moderators are great. I also don't think your "Borg Disney" comment means what you imply, you're one of those who seem to desire to take choices away from guests because you don't like them.

Letting guests have fun and pretend to be princes and princesses doesn't lower any standard, they're not cast, they're paying guests who just want to have fun.

There are plenty of things to pressure Disney to change or improve, but this really isn't one of them.

Disagree. I think this is doing the company's long-term image more harm than good. Just my opinion.
(EDIT) I'll admit this is not one of the "biggies" among things Disney should focus on changing.
