My hamster just died

The heat in my apartment has been sketchy and not working well lately, and I think he froze to death.

Rest in peace Terrance Longbottom :-(

Ok. Cancel that.

Put him in my pocket to take to the park and bury. On the way there he started moving. My body heat started warming him up and brought him out of his hypothermic state. He's now slowly recovering buy the furnace.

Pretty freaky. But Terrance, being born on September 11, is a natural survivor, I guess.

I was just getting ready to respond and tell you that hamsters hibernate if it gets too cold!!! This really happened to someone we know, but he "disposed" of them before he discovered that fact! :eek: He NEVER let his children know!
