Havent seen the movie yet or the show, but Im sure the music is just as good if not better than other disney movies. I also think its a shame that they're gettin rid of the show so soon. They could have kept it for another month or so after the movie was released. But hopefully theyll bring it back and princess tianna becomes a prominant figure in the parks.

The Muppets pre-parade should begin on January 4th, 2010. Miss Piggy and Kermit will be riding on a fire truck or one of the Main Street vehicles. Sweetums will also be in the parade. There will be a group of construction worker dancers as well.

Awesome! I'll be there on the 5th; I look forward to seeing this.

Tiana's Showboat Jubilee will definitely be closing in January. I have heard that it may come back at some point....possibly when the DVD is to be released.

I'm indifferent to this, honestly. It was nice but it just went on too long. When we saw it in October we watched it for a while, but then we got bored and moved on. And really, there's already a musical, Princess-related "Wishes Come True If You Dream Real Hard" show at the castle (or is that "Dreams Come True If You Wish Real Hard"? I can never remember). They really don't need to have another one as a permanent fixture.

Really? Examples?

Bring back the canoes and keel boats. I know it'll never happen.

Other things I can think of? If you want to keep something musical, have Fantasimc!-esque floats come from behind TSI carrying Louis and his band, and maybe other musical acts circle the Rivers every so once in a while.

And is the riverboat even that popular? Even with the show it's still running most of the time.

No, but decreasing capacity no matter how small is never a good thing.

I see what you're saying. Perhaps if they got more organized and discluded guest participation, they could only use the riverboat only a few times per day. But you also must consider the guest participation does add some capacity.

Yea, but that doesn't compare to the full Riverboat. It is a good show, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's at the quality where it should be a permanent fixture. Maybe some tweaks would, but at this point it's too long.

What is the outlook on how long the muppet pre-parade will run? I'm not going to be back again until next fall and that's something I'd love to see!

Will there be any other Muppets in this pre-parade?

And will the Muppets still appear in this pre-parade as puppets, as speculated on the WDW Today site?

Is that what's it's called now? I remember when it was Cinderella's Surprise Celebration, but I don't know what the current version of the show is called. It's like the parade, I suppose. It changes every few years, but it's still the 3 o'clock parade.

Well, I am kind of sad they will be getting rid of Tiana, but that's just how it is in Disney World. We can't have the same thing all the time. Gosh, imagine if 5-10 years from now we still have that piece of crap that parades down Main Street U.S.A. nowadays? ...Watch it still be there by then..!

Wow is this a definite? because we'll be there shortly after the 4th and I'd really love to see this!!

Hmm alright...any sense on when exactly? we'll be there from 1/8-16 and I'd love to ride the original riverboat...haven't in years!

We were selected to take a survey a few days ago. It was 10 minutes of Q&A including several free form answers(this was the first WDW survey I ever took that wasnt multiple choice). All of the questions were about the Jubillee, the good, the bad, etc. Very in depth, questions about the costumes, procession, the land, the characters, definitely someone is thinking about bringing it back after the initial run.
