Muppet Mobile Lab returning to Epcot this week

From what I have read, it is controlled from a control room type set up vs a guy with a bag like PUSH.

This is all supposition on my part but I always thought that it was both.

The voice actor and interactivity was controlled backstage, while the actual motion of the unit was controlled PUSH-like by someone in the crowd. And since that person doesn't have to be close enough to hear Guests talking and interact with them like PUSH's helper did, they just need to be close enough to see to move the thing around like a remote control car from a distance. Possibly with an earpiece so that the actor can instruct him to turn the unit around. (Or the actor might even be able to do minor movements like turning in place themselves)

I just don't see how they could safely have someone backstage maneuver the unit through the park using only security cameras along the route and the on-board cameras. If you're curious, I'd look around while the Lab is making its large moves through the park.

Also, I'm soooo happy it's back. I can't wait to see this in person in a couple weeks!
