MSEP will stay past Nightastic

To ScrapIron, Brer Frog, etc., how many times do you have to be told to NEVER listen to that big ugly creep Lutz the Putz?!

His latest WDW slams there only serve as further dentriment to his credibility, which he never really had any of to begin with anyway.

I wish Enderikari was here. I enjoy reading his well-deserved slams against Lutz and the rest of MiceAge.

According to Al Lutz new article today 7/6, MSEP is slated to be shipped back to California by Christmas, so if correct make your trip to see it here before fall is over.

Which is interesting, because he first reported it would stay at WDW till 2012.

And Steve seemed to lead us to believe he had info of it staying for quite a while, too...

Interesting.

I've seen MSEP over the last couple of nights. To be honest, I prefer Spectro over MSEP . The floats were nice but the music was not. Music sounded like out takes from an old Emerson,Lake & Palmer album.
I hope that SpectroMagic will be back in time for Xmas.

that does make it interesting, perhaps they think they will be ready come the holiday season to have the parade and world or color going at DCA...

i doubt Al's report is true as while it WAS on the DL website list of 2010 Holiday activities (which I first saw after it had been announced that the parade was headed to Florida) it no longer appears on the list

While that could be an indicator, the Parks website has proven time and time again to be less than accurate.

Agree, by the end I was ready for the music to stop. Loved Petes dragon though...

IMO that would make No sense to send MSEP back to DCA just for a short Christmas run then not be able to show it until 2012 when the new parade route is complete. Though I guess it is their parade to do whatever they want with it....

Shame if this is true because Spectro has not had very much downtime for upgrades.... 2 years of downtime would have been better! :D

I really used to like MSEP more then Spectro, but now that the music has been changed I'm changing my mind. Without the special brand of music that IS the MSEP, it's lost a lot of luster to me.

Is the music really that different than it used to be? When did they change it? I am SO looking forward to seeing MSEP again, but will be disappointed if the music is different than what is going through my head right now!!

I don't know what's going on with the parade lately. The last couple times I've seen it; floats keep disappearing and lights are out. Yesterday at the 9:00 parade, both Peter Pan units and the America Finale units were not in the parade. It seems to be regular now for a float or two to turn up missing or lights being out on various floats.

The parade has been having quite a share of issues whether it be audio or drive issues this inturn causes then entire unit to be downed.

I hope that it stays for a while so I'm able to see it!
This time last year I was thinking 'Yes, I'll get to see it at Disneyland California!'
Then it moves to Walt Disney World as I decide to go on holiday to Disneyland. :ROFLOL:

hearing this makes me think they are pulling a page out of Disneylands Paris' book. (for most of the parade's run a float or two was always missing every night.

this is terrible news. Spectro is far superior. I was hoping it'd be back when I'm there in November. I'd rather chew on tin foil than listen to MSEP's soundtrack.

That is just odd. This wasn't happening last summer when the parade ran at California Adventure, or even as recent as this past Spring Break when the parade ran nightly at DCA. That's the type of thing where Disneyland message boards would spring to life if there was a report of missing floats and inoperative lights, but we never heard or saw anything of the sort at DCA in recent years.

Maybe the California floats don't do well in the Florida humidity? Seriously. Perhaps these repeated failures in a parade that was just tuned up in California last year and had a flawless run for months has something to do with the humidity or climate of a Florida summer?

That's the only thing I could think of that would cause sudden and repeated problems like that.

You mean like the torrential downpour that occurred On July 1st during the first run of the parade that night? The second show was canceled due to weather even though it was much nicer but still lightly raining at the time the second showing would have stepped off.
