I think there were notices for Fireworks testing over there recently also.

I do like the new DLP Electric Sky Parade, but at the same time I’m worried WDW might have this in mind instead of an actual light parade. I would still prefer an actual parade but having the drone show before HEA and or after would be very doable, no crowd control issues that an actual parade would create, cheaper because no performers needed, It would be very popular. Almost seems inevitable IF MK could have a drone show and safely.
I like it as well! Very Well Done DLP!!!! FYI, looks like this has DL's MSEP 50th Finale. This wouldn't be my first choice to return a Night Parade to MK But I do think it would be well received! Heck!!I got Chills just hearing Spectro & Wishes for a DJ at MK's NYE!!!!!
The Perfect plan would be A Real Night Parade, OUAT like Show with Drones then, HEA. Whether MK takes that Idea or just does DESP, Drones really need to come to the US Parks and not touch the Current Pyro at the same time!

I know from IAAPA that a lot of drone companies are opening locations in Orlando. I’m not quite sure who their clients are yet but I’m sure they anticipate Disney and Universal adding drones in the future.

The company that does the Paris shows opened an office in Orlando. If they do a show they'll probably use that company.

Maybe it could be that MK is actually looking towards the future while most of us here are only looking at the present? Personally, I take silence as golden and an indicator that things are still moving in the right direction vs. us getting a reply and it being one that puts the nail in the coffin, as it has been historically for this topic of conversation. Maybe that's just me.

Good point. No comment by wdwmagic could be a good sign or that there is no movement. I think he would comment if things were going in the wrong direction.

They should have been thinking of the future more in the past. There's an elephant in the room regarding the neighbor up the street. One would be foolish to think that there is absolutely nothing currently in the works to counteract that. And, I'm not talking cupcakes and spirit jerseys, we get those every other week it seems. With D23 Expo the 2nd half of this year and some sort of Epicness opening in 2025, I believe that the 2nd half of this year into 2025 is promising for some news that'll put this thread to rest once and for all... we all need to have a little faith, trust, and pixie dust!
