Photo update as of Friday, April 17. (Additional photos added Sunday, April 19.) As of Thursday, a construction wall was placed across the main walkway to the main entrance to Ragland Road. The temporary entrance (for at least a week) to Ragland Road is now around the side where Cookes of Dublin is located. Heavy equipment was removing the concrete pavement between Ragland Road and the new Morimoto Asia building, in preparation for leveling and new pavement. Also, heavy equipment was digging in the last open space at the side of Ragland Road near the outdoor patio (to the left of the below photo).

In addition, the scaffolding on the front façade of Morimoto Asia building has been removed, revealing an unfinished view to the refurbished building.

Here is the temporary entrance to Ragland Road. Much less dramatic and difficult to find. There are large signs and personnel positioned along the walkway to direct passers-by to this temporary entrance.

An update to Morimoto's Asia restaurant building. As in the concept drawings, a multi-story glass corner for the building.

Here is the Morimoto's Asia façade that overlooks Ragland Road entrance and outdoor patio. The blue/gray material is corrugated sheet metal. Note the new signs on the construction wall courtesy of Ragland Road.

didn't realize morimoto was a chain, so much for disney springs being "unique" one of a kind

It's not a chain. Morimoto in Philadelphia is a Japanese restaurant. Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs will have cuisine from all over Asia:

Celebrity Chef Masaharu Morimoto is co-owner of both restaurants, but his partner in Philly is Steven Starr while at Disney Springs it's Patina Restaurant Group.

Not sure about the rest of Disney Springs, but at least this restaurant will be "unique";)

I don't think I will make it to DTD for my Sept trip. If reviews are good, I will add this place to my Dec trip.

no it is rigid foam insulation panels... the corrugated steel will go on top of it. that steel will get hot, and they dont want bleedthrough, there is enough A/C loss in that glass to begin with
