Zootopia is one of my favorite movies and the Shanghai ride looks amazing, but I wonder if a clone of that ride is too police-centric for the modern American political/social climateI still think Zootopia (which I love) is an odd fit for DHS if it is right next to Mickey since the ride systems are so similar.
Zoo at DHS would probably be a new ride system.I still think Zootopia (which I love) is an odd fit for DHS if it is right next to Mickey since the ride systems are so similar.
If Monsters goes to Muppets, Muppets get a new home, Zootopia (with a new ride system) goes to AC & we get an incredibles re-theme to RNRC ... We really won.Zoo at DHS would probably be a new ride system.
I understand Disney wants Zootopia in WDW, but I can’t think of a park it fits at. IF I was going to force it somewhere, I’d replace Planet Watch with it and upgrade the train ride out to the city. That way it feels totally disconnected from Animal Kingdom (outside of the train and a walking path they’d inevitably make), but goes with animals. I hated the idea of it taking over Dinoland because it doesn’t have thematic cohesion with the rest of the park. Separate it and you’ll have me.
I think Animal Kingdom is probably the worst fit for it. Well, other than EPCOT I guess.
Judy Hopps comes from a family of farmers. The Land talks about Farming. Already works better in EPCOT than AK.I think Animal Kingdom is probably the worst fit for it. Well, other than EPCOT I guess.
WALL-E seems the more elegant integration there if you absolutely had to do IP. Leave the front half alone, set the narration to a BnL (or post-film proxy) partnership with the Department of Agriculture to study and re-establish biodiversity on earth and ultimately grow crops. Put some basic WALL-E and EVE Roombas in the greenhouse, swap out the video tunnel for something tied to the new story, and call it a day.Judy Hopps comes from a family of farmers. We all need to pray for Muppets tonight.
I think if they have them across the park from each other it might feel weird. But if they were next to each other, the transition would blend nicely, and it could almost feel like one big “city where non-humans live” land, which would make each mini-land feel bigger than it really isI feel like Zootopia and Monstropolis are too similar of a concept for them to both be at the same park. They're both quirky, fantastical cities where a lot of the humor comes from monster/animal puns and stuff being big/small. If they were both at HS, it would be way too same-y. Having them be basically right across from each other would only exaggerate that.
The “tough on crime” legislation won out in every county in California. if anything, this week shows you might be the outlier on this issue.Zootopia is one of my favorite movies and the Shanghai ride looks amazing, but I wonder if a clone of that ride is too police-centric for the modern American political/social climate![]()
The movie really isn’t that good though. Waldo is beyond annoying and wrecks it for me.I’ll sacrifice an unthemed coaster I’ve never been on to save the last creative work of Jim Henson any day
Hey guys Optimus Prime hereThe movie really isn’t that good though. Waldo is beyond annoying and wrecks it for me.
I suspect a lot of people like our family only go because it’s a complete walk on. It’s a padded seat in an air conditioned theatre.
It was advertised as temporaryAfter all, Muppetvision was removed from Disneyland and nobody shed a tear.
