if the new rumored location of monsters is true (I.e. muppets) while I’ll ride it , i will never spend a dime on the monsters coaster as long as I live. No lightning lane, no on ride photo, no ride specific merch, nothing.

Judy Hopps comes from a family of farmers. The Land talks about Farming. Already works better in EPCOT than AK.
WALL-E seems the more elegant integration there if you absolutely had to do IP. Leave the front half alone, set the narration to a BnL (or post-film proxy) partnership with the Department of Agriculture to study and re-establish biodiversity on earth and ultimately grow crops. Put some basic WALL-E and EVE Roombas in the greenhouse, swap out the video tunnel for something tied to the new story, and call it a day.

I feel like Zootopia and Monstropolis are too similar of a concept for them to both be at the same park. They're both quirky, fantastical cities where a lot of the humor comes from monster/animal puns and stuff being big/small. If they were both at HS, it would be way too same-y. Having them be basically right across from each other would only exaggerate that.
I think if they have them across the park from each other it might feel weird. But if they were next to each other, the transition would blend nicely, and it could almost feel like one big “city where non-humans live” land, which would make each mini-land feel bigger than it really is

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I’ll sacrifice an unthemed coaster I’ve never been on to save the last creative work of Jim Henson any day
The movie really isn’t that good though. Waldo is beyond annoying and wrecks it for me.

I suspect a lot of people like our family only go because it’s a complete walk on. It’s a padded seat in an air conditioned theatre.

Replacing the muppets would be such a bad decision but I’m sure we will see the typical Disney defenders come out of the woodwork to explain why it makes perfect sense and how we need to get with the times.
It would be a shame to loose muppet courtyard but I can kinda see why they would go that direction as that corner of the park has been dead for well over a decade. Even when I was a CP custodian in 2009, that area was always dead except for when the Brazilians were sprawled out on the concrete (it was actually nice that they used that out of the way area so we didn't discourage it) or when the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights was up and going.

I expect to be told down to how no one actually cares about Muppets like what happened last time, like so

(This was their most upvoted post regarding all the WDW D23 announcements btw, even more than villains)

The day of reckoning draws near, in all seriousness what do we think happens today? Is Muppets or Animation Courtyard not going to survive today

Muppets:

1.) It’s a weird spot to put Monsters in the middle of Star Tours and Galaxy Edge where that area can be used for Star Wars
2.) On the other hand, it seems to have the facilities that could support Monsters.
3.) Land would likely not be as expansive

Animation Courtyard:

1.) Mermaid show delayed
2.) Barren courtyard besides Launch Bay
3.) Very expansive land if supporting buildings are removed
4.) May be hard to work around the mermaid building
5.) Much more costly

As I said before, I have always loved Muppets. As everyone else here, I am hoping that it survives this round. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t excited for the door coaster. Monsters Inc is very deserving of an amazing land and I really hope it gets the treatment it deserves. Monstropolis could truly be something special. Muppets if chosen, would be a blow to the park. I hope they continue to have a presence in WDW.

Is AC any more expensive though? I mean they would have to demolish the office building but you have to demolish stuff for Muppets to work too. And it's a small space and is in between two large attractions while removing one that will heavily upset fans. So really, what's the benefit to Muppets?
