I really dislike when they use the studio theme as an excuse to advertise their mediocre content. Is anyone going home to watch “Dance Moms” because they saw it on a billboard in this dead corner of the park?I saw on Twitter where an area of Animation Courtyard is walled off. Is this related?

At very least it should match the theme of the areaI really dislike when they use the studio theme as an excuse to advertise their mediocre content. Is anyone going home to watch “Dance Moms” because they saw it on a billboard in this dead corner of the park?
Construction likely won't start until the 2nd half of 2025. We are still waiting on where it's going, potentially to be announced at D23 Brazil in less than 2 weeks.
Unrelated to Monsters, Inc. Land. This is for The Little Mermaid.

Interesting! Is this why they pushed back TLM’s opening date?Technically related if you assume the rumor of the entrance moving to accommodate Monsters construction is true.
I believe so. Piecing the rumors together, there's been a big fight behind the scenes of Courtyard vs Muppets. Originally taking out Muppets was winning, but it changed. Now it looks like Courtyard. So, they cancelled the Mermaid opening so they can move the entrance. It does not mean Courtyard is for sure where it is going (this would need to happen regardless for a Phase 2), but it has probably increased the odds by a good bit. Personally, I hope A.) that's true, and B.) that means an expansion of Monsters. It'd feel weird to plop a land that was designed for like 2 acres into an area with like 5 acres. I haven't kept up great on the thread, so people feel free to correct me if I'm off on some of this.Interesting! Is this why they pushed back TLM’s opening date?

I completely agree, especially given that Pueblo is all figured out, BT + Rivers is figured out but they are working on specifics and permit issues, and Monsters while leaning to Courtyard is still not ironed out.View attachment 823450
The original announcement said 2025, I'm speculating on the 2nd half of 2025 due to the order of projects that makes the most sense.
Fall 2024/Early 2025: Pueblo Esperanza
Early 2025: Big Thunder refurbishment, Tom Sawyer, Rivers of America
Summer/Fall 2025?: Monsters, Inc. Land
What about HOP???They've managed to stall announcing this leading up to D23 Brazil, conveniently just a few days after we find out what the supposed next HOP iteration would be
Just that the election is next week and we'll know who will be in HOP after that. What about HOP???
I just thought it was interesting coincidence that with what specifically was rumored as potentially going in HOP before, they've managed to delay announcing if Monsters is going to Muppets or AC to just a few days after the event that determines what a next HOP would be.What about HOP???
They advertise like this on backlots so it makes sense. And funny enough, I actually did add the new show to my queue after seeing that photo (but I doubt that will ever happen to anyone else ever again lol).I really dislike when they use the studio theme as an excuse to advertise their mediocre content. Is anyone going home to watch “Dance Moms” because they saw it on a billboard in this dead corner of the park?
As long as it's a program that's currently in a rotation or culturally relevant - I don't mind it.I really dislike when they use the studio theme as an excuse to advertise their mediocre content. What?It is nice that it probably not gonna be muppets now, and ac. Though I am convinced the rumors of kingda ka closing cropping up when the tides turned for muppetvision are connected. The theme park gods are punishing us for our arrogance.
Yknow the current worlds tallest coaster? This thing in the image? Six flags is likely about to close this in less than a week, with the apparent idea of doing it without telling an announcement. Crazy times. What?
I’ll sacrifice an unthemed coaster I’ve never been on to save the last creative work of Jim Henson any dayIt is nice that it probably not gonna be muppets now, and ac.
